It’s the perfect royal wedding souvenir for someone feeling a bit flush – a Prince William and Kate Middleton loo seat.

The tacky treasure is just one of thousands of pieces of memorabilia to flood the market ahead of the big day on April 29.

William and Kate must have guessed their faces would end up on T-shirts, crockery, postcards and fridge magnets. Buckingham Palace even produced its own official souvenir range with the couple’s initials.

But no one could have predicted the extent to which their image has been used worldwide to sell everything from sick bags to condoms.
