And that is the key. Right now - today - this would result in Republican defeat. But we do not know who the Republican nominee will be, and perhaps the Republicans in Congress will suddenly become both principled and resolute.
If his candidacy is a mere stunt, it will only work against a weak, business as usual, statist-lite GOP. That is what they are most of the time, but not always. Just almost always.
I wouldn't be surprised if the rats are behind Trump's run because it would essentially guarantee Hussein's re-election. I pray he does not run because we need a true conservative to be elected in 2012.

No way could his parents have been US Citizens at the time of his birth, so NO he is Not a Natural Born Citizen even though he was born June 10, 1971 in Baton Rouge, LA.

Regarding Marco Rubio: A quick check shows he was born in Miami, FL to Cuban parents. I haven’t found anything about them naturalizing prior to his birth. I’ll dig into this a little more tomorrow.
As far as I'm concerned there will be little difference in who wins if it is between those two.
