Skip to comments.Ann Coulter: If Christy Doesn’t Run He’s A Jerk. Matthews: Republican Field Of Dog Pound
Posted on 04/12/2011 8:35:12 AM PDT by Biggirl
Its a twofer my little mobsters. Ann has never been one to mince words, which is why we love her so much. The simple fact is she could very well be right. Chris Matthews on the other hand is squealing with delight. Video below the fold.
Ann Coulter appeared last night with Sean Hannity mostly to talk about Donald Trump and his chances in the presidential sweepstakes. Coulter doesnt think much of Trump, nor does she think much of the rest of the presidential field. And that includes Obama. My guess is she feels pretty much the same way most of you do to, my little mobsters. But isnt it a little harsh to label Gov. Chris Christy a jerk if he decides not to run? Or if the nation is really at stake, is she right on the money?

This is like a chick brawl by proxy.
Coulter is smart, cheeky, goes for the throat, speaks her mind, and like all of us has some issues.
She is the one who needs to not be so dismissive of political minds which may not know what McCarthy said during his meals in 1958, but yet have a real shot at changing America's future back to something great.
Ann is not a leader of people. She has that degree of intelligence that makes her impatient and turse, without the empathy which she sees as wasted time and energy. I have a daughter who is super smart like that. She scares people. She's in law school.
Which is to say ‘elitist’.
I agree. That is an aspect of AC which I do not care for.
First impressions count, and that is the impression most Americans have of Sarah....she is an “intellectual lightweight”. It is sad, as I do not think a lofty ivy league school diploma means diddly in the overall scheme of things. And the truth is for many Americans, finishing school in four years is only for the elite with big $$. Are we that snobby?
The Republican field is a dog pound???
Well, at least we know the pedigree of our candidates, i.e. I am sure they each can produce real birth certificates and college transcripts. And say the word corps correctly .
How elequently spoken. Bravo, with your non-sucky comment!
Ok, Huck The Magnificent. You clearly can see the future better than us.
Ann has that bull dog tenacity common in good lawyers......Sarah, on the other hand, reaches people souls. We trust her with our future. Ann could never get votes in a political election........Sarah can. They each have their purpose in life and have found it.
When technically he was a fake hetero. He is a real homo.
And Arianna should change her name to Mrs Olivah Douglass.
Doesn’t take Karnac powers to see the writing on the wall.
Thanks for this thread and for the Radio Vice Online links, Biggirl!
“What is this obsession with Christie? She cant get behind Sarah Palin? Why Ann?”
Easy. Palin hasn’t announced a run yet. But Ann dislikes her because she ran with McCain. Ann thinks that Palin is another McCain. That is why I deem she thinks of Palin. She was not at all supportive of McCain and she didn’t care who ran with him. Only to beat Obama is decided at the voting booth to vote for McCain so she says. But it wasn’t going to happen anyways. I say she may have well voted for Chuck Baldwin in 08 or maybe even Bob Barr. Doesn’t matter.
Seriously, please show me any Repub that can get 270 electroal votes. It's sad to say but you're either voting Repub or your not, period.
“....At least Noonan has a child and never dated Bill Maher...”
Or slept with Geraldo Riviera...
Now how do we get that Vulcan mind melding thing going? The 2012 election is way too soon based on our field of horses.
Although I think Christie would make a better-than-usual “fiscal [only] conservative” candidate, I fail to see this obsession with him ONLY. There are lots of good prospects.
” . . . But Ann dislikes her because she ran with McCain. Ann thinks that Palin is another McCain. . . .”
Those are reasonable points to raise. If those are AC’s views, she ought to bring them front and center. However, her support of Christie suggests though that she, too, is willing to make compromises.
No Geraldo references allowed.
This isn’t a secret: Christy’s a jerk whether or not he runs.
“Sarah Palin does not have the proper pedigree for Ann, nor is she from the Northeast.”
You are so right, my thoughts exactly.
Because she knows that Palin cannot win. Sorry to say because I love Sarah, but she is not likely to win. The people would pick up immediately on Christie and he would get wide support. Palin, on the other hand has been marginalized by the media and by her own actions. I also don’t think that she’s going to run. Ann Coulter is right about the current list of candidates. There isn’t anyone who can beat FUBO.
I agree with you, ReneeLynn.
Anyone else getting sick of Coulter? I used to like her but now she is behaving like a shrill spoiled snot who, if her choices are not met, the guy now becomes a jerk..she acts like a jerk now and I wish Hannity would just can her. Even Dick Morris is more reasonable than she is.
It is a cult.
I’m warming to a Trump/Christy ticket. I think it would be a winner. There is one obvious thing here though, they’re both from the same area of the country. Trump, NY and Christie, NJ. Although, I don’t think this particular issue means as much as it did back in the day, when, in 1960 JFK, a New Englander, picked LBJ, a Texan.
ahhh.. do you always answer a question with a question ?
Actually, that is a rather nice picture of her..she does not look that well on TV.
Coulter has made a career of whining. She’s got a great sense of humor and often sees thingsd from a unique stance, but, she has never “supported” anybody or anything. She makes her bucks and gets attention for tearing things down. Often she is focused on things we like to see weakened so she has an audience in conservatives, but she cannot be expected to be supportive or nurturing of anything. That’s not what she does.
What is pissing so many off lately is that she has turned her rapier comments on some conservative pet projects. She’s lanced anti-gay conservatives as well as birthers, so now she is being viewed as a traitor.
I take her with a grain of salt, but she has lingered beyond her expiration date.
It is a necessary thing for many.
Yeah Ann is supporting a Northeastern Guy in Christie who clearly is not 100 % conservative. He is by some measuring sticks, worse than Huckabee, who Ann has taken to task for not being conservative. All Christie is a slight fiscal Republican which is no match for the likes of Scott Walker or John Kasich. So her support of Christie points to her not being as conservative as she pretends to be.
Thank You, it isn’t easy being role model for others.
Yep..I can tell you’re from Jersey
I’m pleased that you’re not ‘fretting’.
Got anybody in mind, ‘cause Christie sure the HELL isn't...
Ann is not the same animal, just overexposed and too honest when presenting accurate opinion.
I don't know. Do I?
and you’re a self proclaimed ‘right wing extremist”
I’m trying to figure out when/why Ann went liberal on us.
Christy is a fine governor of New Jersey, but we don’t need him for president. We are better off with him being Ann’s jerk. As for Matthews, he is the world’s jerk.
Sorry Ann, we don’t need a President Christie resurrecting an “assault weapon” ban and/or other anti-2nd Amendment legislation/judges.
Mebbe so, Chrissie. But your candidate is dog food.
“Donald Trump is providing a blueprint here: The way to beat Barack Obama in 2012 is to just go at him.” -Rush Limbaugh - Thursday, April 7, 2011
Ill tell you this. Whoever in this field takes it to Obama the straightest and the hardest and the most direct, is whos gonna win. Theyre gonna have to take it to Obama. This isnt a pussy-foot around type of election. This is not, Oh, weve got to worry about what theyre gonna say about us, weve got to worry about PR, about charges of racism. Somebodys got to be willing to take it to Obama. Its going to be about him and four more years of this stuff and well see if theres anybody in this field willing to do that. ~ Rush Limbaugh - March 25th, 2011
Ann is looking quite silly on the Christie issue. I assume she likes his style and thinks he is a winner that does what he says he will do.
If that is the case, you think she would take his word that he is not going to run this time, seriously.
Good grief Ann, enough.
As extreme as our forefathers were (hence the 1776)...
She's surprising me.
I did not know AC like Romney. Laura Ingraham seems partial to him too. I have never understood why so many women are drawn to that winsome Ted Bundy style charm.
