“The Republican-controlled Oklahoma Senate dealt organized labor another defeat on Tuesday when it voted to repeal a collective bargaining law. “
Good for them!
Republicans are fixing things state-by-state issue-by-issue... a long fight, but it’s good to see our side make gains.
I was taking a nap earlier today and woke up to hear on the radio that Chicago just passed a law, making it illegal for any future politician (in Chicago)to mess with organized labor or bid out jobs to non-union companies. I was half asleep, so did not get the full details. I did a quick search and found nothing on it, so was wondering if I was having another nightmare or has anyone else heard this?
And, was wondering, how can you pass a law, making it so future laws cannot be passed. This does not seem possible, and if it is possible, it is just wrong.
I mean, if this is the way it is going to be, conservatives need to start doing the same thing when they get in power, ie, start making laws, that prohibit making or changing future laws.
Why aren’t the U.S. Congress Critters screaming for Efficency Studies, Audits and 30% Cutbacks minimum of ALL
U.S. Govenment Agencies and Employees???? We know there is layer upon layer upon layer of Useless Bureaucrats who pride themselves on doing as little as possible for their huge paychecks that are at least double the size of Private Indusries! Hats off to Oklahoma’s new Republiccan Government, that of Wisconsin’s and Governor Christie in New Jerseyand Corbett in Pennsylvania!!!!
You mean Cowboy State;)
What’s the run down like now: Indiana, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma, and . . .?
There must be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth in the union hq’s these days.
I’m glad to see this, maybe they can make the lazy trashmen pick up a trash container when the wind blows it over.
This has been an ongoing irritation with me......
