If you anti-birthers want to present evidence, you need to verify that it checks out before trying to build your case on it.
In 1961, anyone could obtain a Hawaiian COLB for their kid, no matter where they were born, so even if the papers got their information from the state in order to print the birth announcements, it's not conclusive proof that Obama was born in Hawaii.
A COLB is a secondary abstract which is taken from information on a Certificate of Live Birth, i.e., an official long form birth certificate.
Barry has yet to prove that the piece of paper his drones have bandied about, is the real magilla, therefore no one knows what his actual condition of citizenship is.
An honest man would have produced his original LFBC the first time the public asked for it - especially if that man had been chosen as a nominee for president, and MOST especially if that man had actually been elected to the office.
Instead, Obama and his people have steadfastly refused to answer the public's simple question by releasing his primary birth record. Logic dictates that he either can't produce a primary birth certificate, or that there's something about it that would disqualify him from holding the office of president.
This is the long and short of the issue (no pun intended). I still can see no logical reason that you would not want to see Barry's LFBC to put everything about this question to rest, once and for all.
You claim to want to go after Obama on substantive issues. Again - logic dictates that you, of all people, would be demanding for him to end this by simply releasing a stinking $12 document. So should his liberal supporters.
It's an honest question that the American people have every right to ask their president. Obviously, millions of Americans are dissatisfied with the answers they've received thus far, although some, like you, accept what's been proffered.
If your goal here is to try to convince Freepers that they ought to give up the quest for Barry's LFBC, and accept the electronic images, hearsay, and government apparatchik press statements that have been offered, you're wasting your time.
The battle lines on this issue were formed a long time ago, and you're not likely to make many new converts to your cause, at this point.
