Sorry. Levin is a schmuck. The primaries don't start until next year. Right now Trump is not speaking ill of any Republican, except maybe President Bush. He is going after Obama, and he's doing it well. Let those on our side be quiet for at least six months. There will be plenty of time to sort things out in the fall.

I can look at Trump’s little empire, count up how many people he employs (thousands), and then count up how many people these parasite lawyers employ... and do some simple math as to who has been more beneficial to the US economy.
Trump might not be a doctrinaire conservative, but he has generated jobs.
I admit that is a real contrast, one hiding in his "bunker" and one, fully exposed, fighting in the streets.
Well POTUS has not exactly been “Christian” either.
Trump if anything, is a capitalist. He has moved massive amounts of capital and has employed untold thousands of employees over the years, creating prosperity for many.
If Trump is not doing any good for the country because he is a capitalist, explain that.
Many conservatives don't trust somebody who was not conservative for 63 years and who then converts to conservatism in year 64, when considering a run for the Republican nomination.

Trump is doing good by getting these questions where they belong, in front of the mass of the American people. He’s probably also paid more in taxes than many people have earned to pay taxes on, and he’s probably employed more people than most people will meet in a lifetime. Is that nothing good? If people can’t just recognize and mention reservations about others who are basically on-side, instead of broadcasting them as condemnations, and claim that leading in the polls is somehow ‘splitting the party’, we’re not going to get anywhere, and who even needs a Democratic Party to shut us down?
And, if so, maybe 30 Rock’s writers are right, conservative males really are the biggest bitches.

There were other candidates beside Romney, McCain, Huckster. Are you saying that Levin doesn’t have a strong enough convervative core to support someone beyond those three bad choices?
I can somewhat understand those who have concerns about Trump. But its my opinion that true idealogues do not have success in politics--ie. Bob Dornan, Ron Paul, Pat Buchanan and Alan Keyes to name a few. There is alot of flip-flopping going around and its mainly just putting a face, character and brain to carry the message.
Clinton and Gore were once known as "conservative" Democrats before they hit the national stage. Moreover, I sincerely doubt W. Bush was a conservative deep down. There would be no other explanation why he would leave the border wide open for future RAT voters and then bend over backwards attempting to legalize them or work to put Harriet Miers on the Supreme Court.
