(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
I am enjoying the heck out of this, especially the blow this is to Trump.
First HI says it can't release it then the Governor says he cannot find it then obammy says he needs a ‘waiver’ to release what you and I show to everyone else then HI says they no longer give out the long form and now they do give out the long form and he lets an officer and doctor sit in jail for 6 months and spend $2million dollars to hide this then... ???

Trump is giving a speech right now on FOX saying that he won’t believe that Certificate until his team analyses it...
That is exactly what I was just thinking. It looks like a piece of paper with a square cut out, and the BC was put in the middle, then photocopied.
So the BC that came with me is a copy? I'm old enough that the thing wasn't xeroxed :) I mean all the sigs and info are handwritten on a typewritten form. No autopen, and yes indeedy, I'm dating myself. If that's a copy, how is it different from what the bureaucrats have stuffed in a drawer somewhere? :)
What we see is a photocopy. A Xerox of something.
Probably fake but it won't be submitted to forensic investigation and confirmation. Trump does not have the ability to push it that far
Fake. Block 20 uses different font size for the month and day than for the year.This looks to be the stamp used by registrar's office ...
1) Why is the scan quality so strange?
2) Have you zoomed in to inspect the “typing” - its not typing at all, it’s printing. The words are all ghosted on a white background (zoom in 800%)
3) Why are the O’s in Oahu and Obama different fonts? If this was a real typewriter it would be the same.
If his father was a British subject he’s still unqualified. The SCOTUS, CIA, NSA, etc. should do their job or stand in front of a firing squad.
Because the originals are bound at the end of the year (or month, or whatever).
It looks like it's in a book because it IS in a book.
I wonder if anyone will ask him how he can be a natural born citizen when his father was a british citizen only visiting USA?
I don’t get it. The inner part of the doc is most obviously scanned or copied from a book. Yet the green security background on the flat part of the (inner) scan clearly matches the background of the larger page that it was copied onto. How is that possible?

My son was born 6 months ago, and we had alot of fun examining it and making sure it is safe in case he want to run for POTUS....but it was messy and chaotic looking, as it should be.

The bottom of the certificate shows it was stamped April 25 and that it is a true copy or abstract of the record on file. If there was an adoption, that would be not be revealed.
What this does, essentially, is re-define the definition of natural born citizen...now, it is perfectly fine to only have ONE parent as an American citizen, not two.
I’d say this shows clearly that he is a natural born citizen. Born in America. End of story.
