(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
To be a “Natural Born” citizen of the United States requires that one be born in the United States of parents (plural) who are themselves citizens of the United States.
The fourteenth amendment does not address “natural born” citizenship at all and thus does not affect the Constitutional requirement that one be a Natural Born citizen of the United States in order to hold the office of President of the United States at all!
Barrack Hussein Obama II knows all of this and there lies the answer to your other questions.
This might actually be a fake, open up the PDF and you’ll immediately see white haloing around the text, a scanned document shouldn’t look that way because the ink would a) be placed atop the security-background paper, and b) the bleeding of the ink likely would have a blending effect where the ink’s edge is. (There weren’t multi-hundred DPI inkjet printers back then.)

If this is legit, it proves that Obama's father was a foreign national and NOT a US Citizen.
The father has to be a US Citizen for a person to be a Natural Born Citizen. Clearly Kenya doesn't qualify.

If it shows anybody other than Soetero as his father, then it is a fake. When a child is adopted, birth certificates are changed to place the adoptive parents on the BC. We adopted our grandson, and I am now listed as his birth mother, my husband is his father, same date, same hospital same everything else. The old BC is now destroyed. Any future BCs will be listing me, I don’t care how hard you jump up and down. The only thing that might make you scratch your head in wonder is that I was 46 when he was born.

Donald Trump was able to do what numerous court cases
have been unable to do.
I think this strengthens Trump and makes Barry look even weaker and desperate.
They hope doing this preempts calls for Barry to release all his other records.

Have you ever gotten a copy of a long form birth certificate? I mean in the past 10 years or so? They photo copy (or perhaps print from a scanned image) the original record onto colored, tamper resistant, paper, not just white copier paper. There is nothing weird about it, it would be weird if they had done something else.
Why didn’t he just show the one he (supposedly) wrote about?
That looks like unsharp masking was applied to the image. If you look at the parts of the image which are less sharp to begin with, especially the document number 61 10641, you'll see less of an artifact. Many digital cameras and scanners do this type of sharpening automatically unless you turn it off.
Unlike the Certification of Live Birth released in 2008, I don't see a lot of JPEG artifacts like two dimensional "ringing" at sharp boundaries. They didn't do as much data compression on this image.
Here are my thoughts, ‘gut reaction’ using my ‘mom skills.’
He FINALLY had the Long Form??? (but it is still titled ‘Certification of Live Birth’) released. It was, per the stamp, done this Monday 4/25/11. Then he calls a quickie Podium Talk (no questions per the usual Regime MO) and he speaks about the ‘topic’ for the first few seconds...then goes off into some weird campaign spin whine mode, then goes back to the BC for a few words.
Why wouldn’t he use the time to say ‘my parents were young; my mom was preparing to go to college, daddy BHO was in college; my parents were poor; we lived at...this address; okay...this is the Hospital I was born at; this is the Doctor who delivered me...this is...’
Sorry...but to me, this is fanning the story more...not putting it to rest. Dunham/Soetaro/Obama just VALIDATED there are still questions.

It certainly doesn’t take that long to buy a forged one. He prolonged it because 1) he doesnt need to explain himself to us lowly peons, 2) he was holding out for 2012 and was going to use this to undercut the GOP candidate.
I still want to know why BHO Sr.’s race is listed as “African”. If put in there in 1961, I wouldn’t think that that is a term that would be used (”negro” or something similar would be more likely). If put in there recently, then why not “African-American” (yes, I know he was never American, but that’s the PC way)?
