(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.

That travesty alone is horrifying. To think a man like Obama could be complicit in allowing an innocent man to go to prison is beyond moral comprehension.

Trump didn’t expect this quick of a response, but he’s not just blindly accepting it and is asking for more.
I got the same results too. Very odd, and the first thing that makes me question it. Most everything else people are screaming about is BS and has easily plausible explanations. This might too, but I don't know what it is.

Perhaps you should hold your thoughts prior to watching the video of Trump on Fox this morning. He won’t believe it until his own forensic people get to review the document, unlike a handful of FReepers who are hi-jacking this thread, and seem willing to believe anything Obama tells them.
I will believe it until I see the ORIGINAL BC, not the copy one.
I’m thinking this is just an abstract. The dept of health just printed, with today’s machinery, the form and details, and somehow copied the signatures over. That this is not any kind of photo copy of the original.
Would be interesting to see if this is truly all you get these days when you ask for a legal copy of your long form from HI.

Been listening to local all news station owned by CBS. They report as gospel what Obama provided today as factual and should be end of sentence. Not a word about Trump slapping the snot out of him before hand.

When a child is adopted, the child’s birth certificate will be changed to reflect that information. The nature of the changes and how they are made may depend on the state in which the child and adoptive parents reside. In many cases, the original birth certificate may be kept and sealed after an adoption and a new birth certificate may be created.
How is a birth certificate changed after an adoption?
After a child is adopted, most states will perform a similar procedure as follows:
If the child is from a foreign country, the parents will file the adoption papers from that country in their local jurisdiction when they arrive home. The papers will be handled by the district court to complete a certificate of adoption.
The same will be true of a child adopted within the US. The adoption certificate will be created by the parents’ district court based on those papers, regardless of their point of origin.
After the adoption is finalized and the certificate of adoption is completed by the district court, it will be mailed by the court to the local State Department of Health to be processed by the Registrar.
The adoption certificate will be used by the Registrar to create a new birth record. This will list the new adopted information, i.e. the names and information of the adoptive parent(s) as the legal parents of the child. The child’s birth date and other details may or may not remain as listed, depending on the circumstances of the birth. Information about the biological parents will be removed from the official record, and the new information regarding the adoptive parents will officially replace the original birth records, if any. The original records will be sealed and filed in confidentiality, only to be released under specific court orders in rare situations.
To ensure that all steps are completed smoothly, an adoption lawyer should be consulted during the process.

We will know soon enough. If true, it would be very interesting that this “declaration” is made just prior to the book being released. Nothing I would like better than for BO to go down over the BC issue because we would get a twofer. BO and the media will be shown to be the scum they are.
