As to the "no one uses the long form of their bcs, or I've never seen my long form...." my question to them is, did you ever apply for a Passport?" I wouldn't even be able to get a certified long-form from my home State of Minnesota if I wanted one. When I got my passport, I used a certified electronically-generated form similar to the one Obama released a few years ago.
