You see, all money belongs to the government, so when oil companies, or anybody else, gets a tax break, it’s like stealing from Uncle Sam. Get it? Property rights are so outdated.

May I please ask how taking away subsidies from oil companies is going to help our struggle at the pump?
Actually it will make it worse because the oil companies will simply raise the price.
But that isn’t the point and Obama knows it.
If the Government takes away those subsidies they will not go back into the Treasury. Obama will spend them buying windmills. But he doesn’t think we are smart enough to figure that out.

I’m sorry to say that there are many people who buy this nonsense. They think that “big oil” and speculators are driving up the price of oil. I wonder where these people go when the price of oil drops? The lack of understanding of even the basics of economics is frightening.
Try explaining that to the illinformed voters.
‘end subsidies’ sounds good to the untrained ear. If the Obama administration tries to end these legitimate business expenses ONLY for the oil companies, will it hold up in court?

Guess Uncle Sam missed the correlation between the falling dollar and the rise in gasoline prices....gas isn’t more expensive,just that the dollar is approaching toilet paper value. Thank you O Great One (and your side-kick, Fed Chief Beanie).
