Politics and Hollywood collide again at tonight's annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. The event has evolved into a star-studded affair as celebrities descend upon Washington, joining journalists and President Obama.
This year's comedian headliner, Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers, is charged with the task of poking fun at the President and Washington politics.
Each year, the President uses the occasion to show a more humorous side as well, making fun of himself and the people who cover him.
The purpose of the annual dinner is “to raise money for WHCA scholarships and honor the professional recipients of the WHCA's journalism awards," according to the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) website.

O’Reilly stated one night this past week that Trump had told him he had $7 Billion net worth. That should be enough to investigate the Hell out of Obama and his minions.
I watched a rerun of the dinner on CSPAN and just saw the Zero’s attempts at humor, followed by this Seth guy (who I’ve never heard of previously) who also bombed at getting any big laughs.
The camera did show the back of Juan William’s head once. I suppose that Wendell Goler (FNC, and black) was also there, since he took Major Garrett’s place in the WH Press Corps as a major suck-up to Obama.
Seth’s only humorous joke was about Brian Williams from NBC; rushing back from the Royal Wedding coverage to appear in the South after the tornadoes (like Shep Smith and Geraldo did after Katrina).
Trump NEVER cracked a smile, as the two idiots at the podium kept attacking him with darts instead of humor. The Donald WILL find a way to get revenge! I’m looking forward to what will happen.
Trump is serious, and sickened, regarding our sad state of the union. As are many of us. The clown in chief gets it, alright. He knew he would be a one term TOTUS. Which is precisely why he is doing all the damage he can, in one term.
Just pray we can hold this marxist anchor baby at bay, til then.
Also pray, our tea party members in Congress, will have the courage to call for an amendment to our Constitution. One which will prevent another anchor baby, with loyalties beyond our borders, from ever again becoming President. Where all future President’s must be born of two citizen parents, as our founders intended.

Trump is planning his revenge. Even if he does not wind up being a candidate, I am sure he will do all he can to help to defeat this fraud. While Trump is not a true conervative, he is still a patriot ....... and he will fearlessly speak out when he feels he must. Bravo Trump!

Obama made Trump bigger than life tonight. He also gave literal meaning to the “bully pulpit”. Trump is a boaster, but Obama BULLIED Trump, and nobody likes a bully. The disdain on Trump’s face tonight reflected the disdain many Americans have for the childish arrogance of this administration.

And then, as a coup de grace, Obama showed a screen with his vision of how Trump could bring change to the White House. “Trump” was prominently displayed in glittery letters and girls could be seen with cocktails on a Jacuzzi-augmented front lawn.
Trump chuckled at some of the earlier jokes, but was clearly less amused as comedian Seth Meyers picked up where Obama left off.
“Donald Trump often talks about running as a Republican, which is surprising,” said the Saturday Night Live actor, entrusted with providing some of the comedy for the evening. “I just assumed he was running as a joke.”
Trump stared icily at Meyers as he continued to criticize the real estate tycoon.

At least Dems don’t mind bringing in comedians to go after conservatives and Republicans. Did W ever have anyone go after the dems or the liberals? He even had Colbert come in and humiliate him right to his face. Trump arrived on the red carpet at Washington’s Hilton Hotel with his wife, Melania, shortly at 7:00 p.m. (ET).
After giving a brief interview with a group of several of media outlets, Trump — who was invited to the event as a guest of the Washington Post — walked away to a chorus of audible boos from the media members on the press line. (And it wasn’t because they wanted to hear Trump talk more.)
