Can you imagine making the Seals break into Bin Laden's compound in a horrificly dangerous operation and making them asking Bin Laden to surrender FIRST, before shooting him? That could have put the entire mission on jeopardy. That must have been an Obama-command.

why not injure him and bring him for questioning and getting all the info out of him and then putting him on TV looking like a right useless sap.
The info on banking, money, future attacks is all gone and if we had watched him we could have found his number two with others.
Why the hell did we dump his body to respect his religion of 24 hours?
What a complete mess and hopefully when the giddy media calm down and stop cheerleading then they will ask these questions

Yes, actually, I can. I actually would rather him have been taken alive, so we could parade him as our prisoner in front of the world, then put him on a remote island to rot so as not to get a "martyr's" death.

The body in the photo looked pretty banged up. Either he was in no shape to answer, or someone tossed a grenade at him after shooting him between the eyes.

Bin Laden was asked to surrender before being shot
Osama Bin Laden was asked to surrender by US troops before he was shot dead, Fox News is quoting intelligence sources as saying.
The terrorist leader had always said he would not be captured alive.
Bin Laden was shot dead during a raid by US ground troops on a compound in Pakistan. His body was captured by the Americans.
The troops landed in four helicopters. One of the helicopters suffered mechanical failure and was destroyed by the Americans. However none of the American soldiers were killed.
One of Bin Laden’s sons was also killed in the operation.
President Barack Obama confirmed Bin Laden’s death in a White House statement. Celebrations have erupted in Washington and New York. See separate stories.

and yet, Drudge has this story...
WASHINGTON | Mon May 2, 2011 8:46am EDT
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. special forces team that hunted down Osama bin Laden was under orders to kill the al Qaeda mastermind, not capture him, a U.S. national security official told Reuters.
“This was a kill operation,” the official said, making clear there was no desire to try to capture bin Laden alive in Pakistan.

If so it was very bad timing, should have been done october 2012 to give bambi the most help. In a few months this will all be forgotten and the constant reminders of it by bambi and the fellatojournalists that support him will become very annoying to most people.

I suspect the shouted "Surrender" and then shot him within 1/5th of a second thereafter, just for CYA from the lawyers. In the book Horse Soldiers, the author makes clear that the SOG had orders to shoot him rather than take him alive, because they didn't want to deal with the political spectacle of a trial that would almost certainly be muddied by America-hating ACLU types.

I hope when the movie version comes out, whoever plays the SEAL who shot bin Laden between the eyes says to him, "Usama bin Laden, you have the right to remain silent. And we are here to make sure you exercise that right."
And then the screen shot changes to a bullet flying towards the camera in super slow motion and, as it gets closer, you can read that someone has written on the bullet, "Courtesy of The Red, White and Blue".

Early this morning I heard a female reporter on one MSM station or another 'commenting' (in that passive-agressive way that serious propagadists use to
complain about things) on the
fact that bin Laden and the other people in the 'compound' were NOT given a chance to surrender.
I sure wish the State Propagandists would get their stories straight.

Number one the media is not going to stop cheerleading for their messiah. If anything the cheerleading is going to intensify and take on a whole new meaning. In other words; you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Number two why would the adoring press bother to ask any hard questions? They haven’t yet so what makes you think they’ll start now?

There are 2 possibilities:
1. OBL was killed as reported and his body dumped into the ocean.
OR 2. OBL was captured alive and is in some secret place being interrogated for additional intel.
Either way, the official report would be that he was killed.
You do the math

He was in a fortified compound . He wasn’t walking around playing golf.
There is no doubt that he and the others fought their way back into a corner where they made the decision to fight to the death and ignore the surrender offer.
Explosives were employed and then he was shot in the ensuing final stand.
What I find VERY strange here is the total lack of meaningful or heavily armed security personnel.
If he even had the number of bodyguards of, say, a Mafia boss, rather than a couple of couriers, a woman, and his brother, this could have gone down differently.
Basically, he was alone.
