Oh, I did not remember that. Thanks. You see, there is no way to tell when cancer is going to make a comeback, but it nearly always eventually does. And, Cain is not a young man. He will be good, as someone said, to hold the debate to the conservative side of issues. It’s a shame that he is not a young healthy man, but then he would not have the wisdom and common sense that he has. I wish him well.

I am a huge fan of Bret Baier...this was a great debate with a lot of terrific questions, perhaps with the exception of the reality show one. I felt very comfortable with this forum, the moderator, the questions and most certainy, the candidates. I felt I really got to know each of them a little better.

I like the fact that the field was smaller...and if the Republican field of candidates is large, let them debate in small groups like this. Do elimination rounds, taking the top 2-3 and hosting another round.( hey, Obama could even do brackets ;-).

And let Fox do the debates...no more NPR hacks,no more Robin Roberts, Lehrer, etc. This was a wonderful forum and I hope to see it continued. How refreshing. Top pick - Cain, 2nd- Paul. Pawlenty, nice guy but Mitt2, Santorum, strong on National security but Newt2, Johnson?..nice guy, not in the same league,

I saw West in DC on 9/12. He should be on everybody’s short list for VP.

I didn’t or haven’t watched a minute of it. Completely forgot about it!!!

By no means should anyone do that. This is a thinning the herd debate. Heck, 12 folks up there would have been quite labor intensive to listen to.

“I believe Hannity has everyone on after the debate tonight”

Paul’s not coming on - Sean said he’s off to a tea party.

I agree. This was not a “debate” it was a question and answer forum. Throw a question out there and let them argue their viewpoints..that’s a debate

First time I’ve ever seen or heard about Johnson. His hand movements made me think he is gay.

The only way Paul gains any traction is if he give free pot to his camp following.

Interesting. Not sure if I agree (though I don’t disagree), but Luntz’ poll members picked Santorum #2.

Cain clear winner according to Luntz.

Yep. That’s why Santorum endorsed him as well. It would have been better if Santorum had thought for himself and endorsed a true conservative. Pennsylvania would have been far better off.

Incidentally, I loved GWB. He’s a far better man, and was a far better president than Obama is, but he was wrong in endorsing Specter.

He was terrific! He’s a lot smarter than a lot of people realize- but he’s starting to be a little better known- I think he was by far the best of the bunch tonight.

I wanted to watch the debates tonight and was surprised my 18 year old son stayed to watch. I asked if he had a top or bottom person from tonight. He said Cain for top. He didn’t like the two on the ends (Paul and Johnson). He thought they were kind of weird. I have to agree. So, 2 more Cain fans at my house.
