I can’t believe one can be so narrow minded as to throw out the baby with bathwater

One of the tenants of Conservative economic ideology is that the Fed does not own the money supply. Except for tarrifs and other forms of fees not related to income... ALL Money is derived from our wages and earnings. When a tax cut occurs, what happens is that the PEOPLE get to keep more of what RIGHTFULLY belongs to them in the first place. Tax cuts do not pay for themselves... they grow the economy because those funds are invested and/or spent on items which cause others to become employed and then their earnings are spent/invested and expansion takes place. Every dollar of tax money spent by the government, steals many dollars from the private sector growth funds.

I like Herman Cain better than Ron Paul...Paul’s followers are a little crazy over him.

LoL, that isn't saying much.

Ron Paul 2012 - because damn it, we need to legalize heroin.

Cain seems to be a good guy and I agree he won the debate, but honestly, he isn't likely to win the nomination. Never elected to anything, failed in his one bid for office, old, not particularly photogenic, and as a stage 4 cancer survivor people would have to constantly worry he'd relapse and die. I know people are excited about him at this very moment, but once the 1st tier candidates enter the race he will fade pretty fast.

Saying that though, Cain did really well. No doubt he mopped the floor with the crowd out there for the first debate. But really, based on who his competition was (2 of them were libertarians rather than conservatives) it probably wasn't hard to do.

Mr. Herman Cain was the best candidate in that debate.

So he was in favor of TARP, but disliked the way the government implemented it. That is a cop-out since all federal programs are poorly implemented, regardless of initial rhetoric or good intentions. And he should know this.

Herman Cain is 65 years old. When he was college-age, affirmative action had not yet been implemented, either in college admissions or in employment.

Your comments are unfair to the man at the very least. I don’t know if he took advantage of affirmative action or not. But I do know affirmative action had nothing to do with making Herman Cain successful, and he most definitely is.

It also didn’t give him his intelligence or the ability he obviously has to think quickly and communicate his points exceptionally well.

“Frankly the very fact that he is black.”

Just wow!!! That first sentence tells me everything I need to know about you.

So, tell me, do you shave your head, too?

???Cult? Put the alcohol down my good man. This debate was the first exposure to Cain I have received. Oh sure, you hear the name with all the talking heads get passed around, but this was the first "real deal" exposure that I had to him.Had more style in a plan of action, and getting right to the point than all the other windbags.

Sanatorum is my second on the list of this debate.

The rest? Too much time "framing up" the issue(s), redirecting, drifting, or the worst - there to cover talking points.

Cain showed why he is a leader, how the hell do you get cult out of that?

Those of us that have been following Cain for a while know that Herman Cain has “it”, now the rest of the world is finding out.

Sarah Palin also has “it”. That’s why she continues to be so popular despite the pounding by the MSM.
