(May 11, 2011) Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin will be returning to Baltimore on Saturday, May 14, 2011, after serving five months in Fort Leavenworth. Terry was sentenced to confinement with loss of pay, benefits and pension due to a series of events resulting from his request for confirmation of the presidents eligibility to hold office.
Those interested in greeting LTC Lakin when he returns from prison are invited to join with fellow supporter at Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) on Saturday, May 14, at 10:30 am.
Those planning to attend should use the free pre-event registration on the TerryLakin.com website. After registering, they will received detailed information concerning his homecoming event.
While some have disagreed with Terrys method, none can fault his purpose. He is simply upholding the oath that every officer has sworn,
. . .to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; [to] bear true faith and allegiance to the same; [and to] take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that [he would] well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which [he entered]. So help me God.

Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin, Decorated Army Doctor, Imprisoned for Challenging Constitutional Presidential Eligibility, Gets Early Release
RETURNS TO BALTIMORES BWI ON MAY 14, 2011
“series of events “...nice way of saying he disobeyed orders.
He’s a doctor and he can’t find work?
So?....When did overlooking and ignoring fraud, deceit, identity theft, forgery, and corruption in the chain of command become part of the military code of honor? Is this how our very highest military officers fulfill their responsibilities to the brave men and women serving under them and to their oath to defend the Constitution. Do they feel shame when accepting the salutes of our dedicated and honorable troops?
Are our highest military the least bit suspicious that Obama sits in the White House because of forgery, deceit, fraud, and identity theft? Where is the evidence that they peacefully and lawfully sought certifiable clarification of Obamas status from congress, the courts, and/or Obama himself?
I never thought I would see the day, when the highest military of a third world nation, Honduras, would show more professionalism than that of our nation's highest in command. It is indeed a sad day.
I bet he could still find work in the medical field. Maybe a clinic or church-sposored organisation.
Where is the evidence that these highest military officers sought peaceful and legal certifiable clarification of Obama’s natural born status from the congress, courts, or Obama himself?
Our brave, honorable, dedicated, and highly trained troops deserve better than these very highest officers. The parents and spouses of these troops deserve better. The American people deserve better. The Constitution deserves better.
Aren't these highest officers embarrassed to accept the salute of the brave men and women serving under them? When did forgery, identity theft, and criminal fraud, and, yes, even treason in the chain of command become part of the military code of honor.
Well....When it comes to the military code of honor, it seems “Animal Farm” rules. Our brave men and women in the military get the barn. The highest military officers live by a different standard in the farmer's house. OINK!
Or maybe he’ll end up like you and not give a flip about any oath - weak and afraid of any consequences.
Doubt it, Col Lakin is a Patriot and one day you will be read and weep when he is rewarded.
Thanks for keeping Col Lakin’s story current.
“Hes a doctor and he cant find work?”
His “dismissal” (equivalent to dishonorable discharge) may cause him to lose his medical license?
Since Obama is unlawful then all his orders are unlawful.
Obama admits in his book and publicly in the latest birth certificate that one of his parents was not ever an American. He has violated his oath of office to “..preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution.
If he were a noble gentleman, he would resign. The fact that he even became a candidate and is putting America through Marxist hell proves he is neither honorable nor a gentleman.
Believe me...I agree with you 100%.
Big Bump!
YW. While scouring the net I came across this and hoped some would find it of interest. The LTC needs our continued support.
It also proves we basically have systemic failure in all branches of government, including our Military.
Hes a doctor and he cant find work?
He’ll find work if he’s really interested in using his training. Lots of jobs in the medical profession that don’t require a medical license.
The system didn’t just fail, it was infiltrated and needs a good housecleaning.
Absolutely -- and worth repeating -- BOLDLY!
Maybe he was confused by the fact that we have an ineligible, Muslim, Communist Usurper sitting in the Whitehouse issuing orders to the military. Its a miracle to me any of them are following orders. I just hope that whichever Republican gets elected in 2012 issues an immediate full pardon to LT Cmdr Lakin so he can get on with his life.
But he was convicted of disobeying an order wasn’t he?
right
We’ll have to wait and see what kind of a job he gets.
Why couldn’t he have gone on his combat mission, and then refused his orders to return to the states?
Refusing to leave a combat zone would have made a much bigger impression.
“Refusing to leave a combat zone would have made a much bigger impression”
It would have gotten zero publicity.
Is your favorite apparel your T-shirt that says.. Stuck on Stupid? Does someone need to tell you when it’s time to breathe? Go back under your liberal rock, you are becoming an embarrassment to this site.
I disagree. If he refused to leave a combat zone and wanted to stay with the men that the illegal POTUS sent to die, the whole world would have heard about it.
Excellent responses.

For those who didn't understand anything in the above sign other than "huevos", I offer the following translation:
Honduras is an example to the world. We don't have oil or dollars, but we do have huevos [balls].
Bump
“He is now a convicted felon. Obtaining a license to practice will not be straight forward.”
Do you have a good source on that? A military trial is a different animal from a judicial proceeding. I’m not clear on whether it should count as a criminal record or work to deny him a license to practice. I’m no fan of this birther nonsense, but I don’t see any reason not to let Dr. Lakin practice medicine as a civilian.
The longer it takes for the military to “do something” or even “say something” regarding Constitutional issues, the more I suspect that there are no patriots left in the top brass. The huevos have all been surgically removed.
Seriously ... whatever happened to charisma and panaché and maverick thinking in our top brass?
There always used to be at least one general (think Patton or Grant) with a flair for the dramatic, prone to shoot his mouth off but able to pull off some battlefield heroics. The troops loved him but he made his commanders more than a little nervous.
Have our generals all be neutered? Are they interested only in promotions and not in principles any more? Do any of them even understand the oath they took?
I agree. Lakin was punished pretty severely for what he did, a very foolish act IMHO. Losing a lifetime pension is no slap on the wrist. He faced the music and did his time. Let the guy go back to earning a living.
FWIW, I believe a dismissal only counts as a felony conviction if the crime the brought on the dismissal would've been a felony in the civilian world. Example, if he was dismissed because he raped or murdered someone. In Lakin's case, there's no civilian equivalent for the offense he was punished for. I'm guessing he'll be able to regain his medical license (if he even lost it in the first place) and find employment.

The above link followed the Lakin trial closely. In the link go down into the comments a few posters and start at World Watcher. He questions the felony aspect and a few give response on down from him.
As I read their responses it seems there is no felony designation in the Military but the Federal guidelines use anything over a max of 12 months sentencing potential as being considered a felony. They further state that Lakin should contact each state and get a determination regarding whether it’s considered a felony for that state.
Thus Lakin most likely can retain his Medical License at least in some jurisdiction with some luck. Take all my response with several grains of salt as I am not knowlegable about the matter.
