Isn’t Boeing trying to hire workers in South Carolina? How’s that going? Not too well. Obama told Boeing to get back to Seattle and use his union base workers.

Boeing is going forward with plans to open the 787 line in SC. The complaint was brought by the UAW over a year ago and the labor board chimed in 18 months after Boeing announced the expansion. Boeing has very deep pockets and is confident it will win and is still slated to start producing 3 787s per month at the SC facility.

The company I work for hires all the time. They hire top-notch programmers and small time operators. The main point is character. That can be weeded out fairly quick.
