Strauss-Kahn was set up, French say

When news broke that Dominique Strauss-Kahn was arrested in New York on criminal sex charges, theories that the IMF chief had been set up began circulating in France.

By Joseph BAMAT / Sébastian SEIBT (text)

In the immediate aftermath of Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s dramatic arrest, the majority of French people were inclined to believe that the managing director of the International Monetary Fund was the victim of a conspiracy, an opinion poll revealed on Wednesday.

The survey, conducted by French polling agency CSA after New York City police charged Strauss-Kahn with sexually assaulting and attempting to rape a hotel maid in a luxury hotel, found that 57 percent of people interviewed thought he was set up. Just 32 percent of people thought he was not the victim of a plot and a further 11 percent had no opinion.

"the managing director of the International Monetary Fund was the victim of a conspiracy"

By whom, pray tell. If M. Strauss-Kahn lived a life of rectitude and probity, then none of this would have happened. His past indicates that what he is accused of at present is true.

If this is 'conspiracy', then it is one of a long duration, and he is, himself, one of the conspirators. I find that difficult to swallow...

That’s possible too. Noticed that she also is living where people with HIV live. Interesting about that too. I have a feeling there is a lot more to this story than we know.

Clearly he was set up, because who could resist the temptation of a middle-aged Muslim woman from Ghana with AIDS?

PLEEEZZZE.
So you French think it is perfectly acceptable for a naked old man to chase a housekeeper down the hall, drag her back to the room and REPEATEDLY sexually assault her.

WAS he set up. WHERE”S the payoff. Sudden infusion of money in her overdrawn account (?)? Or is she moving to a 5th ave townhouse?
I mean come on guys, why would ANY women subject herself to this if she wasn’t forced. After all how did she know he wouldn’t kill her?

You have to start somewhere, though. :-)

Yup. And it needs to start yesterday!

Part of a very complex conspiracy tapestry the Left has been weaving since his perp walk. He was the one “good guy” at the IMF unwilling to subject downtrodden Socialist states to the whims of Big Eeeeeevil Globalist Bankers. So they cooked up a honey-trap and snared him, just like Eliot Spitzer, dontcha know....

Those details wouldn’t be very hard to arrange if - IF - she was acting as a paid agent for some kind of sleazy ‘Mission Impossible’ setup. It would be facile, in fact.

Remember: Tawana Brawley smeared herself with dog excrement.

I’ll just repeat that: Tawana Brawley smeared herself with dog excrement.

And Gayle Mangum maintains her bizarre gang-rape fictions to this day.

Those two acknowledged rape hoaxers were just trying to get jackpot justice, perhaps (obliquely) funded by the NACCP.

It’s therefore not beyond imagining that there are women who would, ah, take one for the team in exchange for money.

This sounds harsh, I know. But I stopped reflexively believing rape accusations right after Tawana Brawley staggered out of that alley.

In the current case, the fact that the accused is a big time liberal makes the accusation MUCH more believable. If this were e.g. Clinton I wouldn’t doubt the rape story for a moment. And I don’t doubt that DSK is a French version of Clinton (OK that doesn’t bear thinking about).

But the fact that DSK presents a clear and present danger to the reserve status of the US dollar, and is being put in the cross-hairs just as QE2 is coming to an end?

Frankly my suspicions are aroused. It would be absurd just to accept what the media give us on this one. We can at least wait for the trial and proper rules of evidence.

Was she cleaning a room that had been asigned to her? Did she enter the room when she had a good reason to think the occupant had checked out?

Standard procedures in hotel housekeeping would indicate yes to both these questions. Entry would likely have been gained by the maid by an electronic key-card which would have registered on the hotel security computer. Likewise, she would not have begun the cleaning assignment unless she had reason to believe the room was vacant.

The fact that hotel management backed her story indicates that proper procedures were followed.

It is true that MSM did not pursued Slick's case hard enough. It was ignored. However, they are on this guy's case with all their resources.

I won't work up against French dragging Slick out. It does not make Dominique any less guilty. By the way, Monica thing was consensual, even if it is a repugnant thing to do on Slick's part. However, Juanita Broderick case is completely different. You may hear a lot about Juanita case from French. You can tell French that they can mobilize international pressure on Slick's old case. Perhaps Juanita can do another interview. This time the media climate could be favorable to him. Especially in France. We can hang Strauss-Kahn, Slick and MSM all in the same package.

If true. Call it poetic justice.

By the time this gets to trial he should have full blown aids.

Or will his Lawyers arrange SECRET treatments.

...Juanita Broderick case is completely different.

You are totally right there. Juanita sat on her story for years instead of making it a issue immediately. The maid went right to the cops. Secondly, the issue would only be fodder for the Frogs. The US couldn't really care less about allegations that went nowhere 20 years ago. Immobilize to bring up what? If you don't recall every right winger under the sun was doing everything they could to light that fire back in the day, but it was a purely he said she said with out a scrap of evidence. The Frogs sabotage us whenever they get the chance so I don't see how this will change our relationship one iota.

Things have calmed down after Sarkozy took power. With this, it would be back to Chirac and De Villepin days. On the other hand, if Sarkozy is reelected, this episode would be relegated to an issue mainly among French socialist crowds. There is a real difference between President Chirac and President Sarkozy. Sarkozy would not actively throw roadblocks at U.S., as far as I know, general attitude of French elite notwithstanding.

Look at that old bastid. Do you really believe this 62 year old Frog, could sodomise a 32 year old African Woman without her consent?

She would heave beat his butt and handed it back to him.

Doesn’t mean this old turkey should be running the IMF.

Set up?? I dont know, but there is more to this than meets the eye.

I don't even care if he WAS set up-he didn't have to take the "bait".

He is guilty of being VERY stupid at the absolute minimum, and such a stupid man should not be in charge of anything more important than mucking out the stables!

Ben Stein he say "He is one of the most recognizable people on the planet"

DMK. he's like J'Lo, Li-Lo, Snooki, GaGa. Always on the cover of People

She could be a foreign operative.

In the US for 13 years, working as a hotel maid. That's deepest cover sleeper agent.
