I live out here on the west coast and listened to people calling into radio stations completely convinced this would happen, having given away all they owned (though this is not such a bad thing imo).
Camping thought he was more special than the rest of humanity and knew something no one else did. His spiritual betrayal of so many was very harmful. Holy Scripture is 100% clear on this, is it not?
He is a gentle man and genuinely desires the salvation of sinners. He has gone way overboard in the date setting, however, building a certain date on a very tenuous foundation.

Sounds like a group that needs to find another leader, and change their name. Maybe then they can still do some good. OTH, as I understand it, this isn’t the first time he’s done this. They should have dumped him last time.
This was his show, a place where people of all sorts could call in and ask him questions.

I listened to the call, and it sounded like a perfectly valid question to me. I suppose he could be beginning to suffer Alzheimer’s or senile dementia...
I’ll be interested in hearing what his statement that he plans to make today is about.
That was not a very nice thing for that mom to do.
