Krauthammer is useless. It is high time he rode off into retirement.
Well, the first thing I thought of when I read this was that Rose (of Quinn & Rose fame) is NOT going to be happy, having expressed her admiration for both Krauthammer and Cain.
My expectation is that she will elevate her support for Herman Cain and admonish Krauthammer on their show on Monday.
For those who don’t know, Jim Quinn and Rose Somma Tennent host a syndicated morning radio show out of Pittsburgh. (The show actually contains almost zero local content and is instead focused on national/international topics). Quinn is actually a mix of Rush and Mark Levin and G Gordon Liddy. He’s a terrific, no nonsense thinker. Their show is available on the web thru Clear Channel.
Me too. What a breath of fresh, honorable air. But IMO, he needs to serve his constituents in the office he currently holds. He is a future President, IMO, just not right now. A Cabinet post may be in the wings, a number of powerful committee posts...and many more opportunities to speak. I have no doubt this man will rise in the ranks, he did it in the military and he can do it in Washington.
Shall we start the North Florida Chapter of the Go West campaign?
Sometimes krauthammer cannot resist his ‘roots’. he can make sense at times but he doesn’t know what makes ‘flyover country’ tick.

Kraut has become more “inside-the-beltway” than ever, and therefore his “analysis” has become increasingly useless. What this says is that Cain is, in fact, a legitimate candidate who scares the crap out of the establishment because he is a black man who has actually ACCOMPLISHED something.

Or just a human who has accomplished something. It is very important to the political elite to maintain the illusion that government service is something so extra-special magically unusual that even the CEO of a major corporation couldn't possibly do it unless he or she has at least been *elected* to dog catcher before. Only then are they provided with the secret decoder rings and magic bureaucrat-dust required to be able to effectively handle a government position.
This ABSURD mythology needs to be smashed and destroyed starting immediately. Herman Cain is the person to do it, as POTUS or VP, either one is fine.
That tells us more about the establishment than the candidates, doesn't it.

In 1975, Krauthammer was still working as a psychiatrist. He then served in the Carter Administration and was a speech writer for Walter Mondale. By 1985, he had switched sides on foreign policy. Can’t get much more MSM than Kraut!
He does realize that in late summer 1992, the polls showed:
Perot - 40% (had never held political office)
Bush - 31%
Clinton - 25%
This was before just Perot sabotaged his own race (on purpose, imho). But the fact remains that Perot was GAINING supporters at this time, and probably would have ended up with 43-45% of the vote. Plenty to have won the race outright.
1992 shows that Americans WOULD vote for someone that had never held political office. Heck, they were so eager to do so, they were voting for a 3rd party candidate that had never held political office.
Having never held political office is only a hurdle in the primary. Not the general election.

Exactly. How any supposedly sober, rational person could vote for ZERO, is beyond me. Obama was very clear what his agenda was. People who purport to be well-informed are now shocked to find he’s a commie, Islamist sympathizer commited on the destruction of the United States.
