Credentials matter, unlike “present”, in this election. People are not going to settle for otherwise. Trouble is I’m hearing a lot of people unhappy about the choices...it seems those who have the ability are so far not running.
Yikes! Is Cain A Mason? Sheesh...this just gets worse!
“Also dont Immanentize the eschaton”
LOL, your point is well taken and Mr. Buckley would approve of what you suggest.
I agree with you.....let’s wait and see and learn more about this canidate.
I admire your optimism. God brought us so far, but the people did not resist temptations, and the country has become so corrupt that I cannot blame Him for withdrawing His blessings from us. And Obama coming down so hard on Israel will not win us any points with Him either!
As far as this election is concerned, Let us wait to see if Michelle Bachman announces and hear what she has to say. I do think she definitely has fire in the belly for the race because she truly loves our country and what it stood for in the past. And she does have a record to stand on. When all the cards are dealt, we should know which one to play. Pray that we pick the right one this time. God bless.
Ire ad where on FR that he is a 32nd degree Mason.
Don’t forget Mr. Voegelin.
And another thing.....perhaps most important of all questions: Where does Herman Cain put God in his list of priorities? If it is not first of all, it is not enough. And if he is a 32nd degree Mason, yet has stayed with the program, his God is not my God.
Herman Cain has repeatedly answered the Fed question -
Here Herman Cain addresses the Fed and TARP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wI_oocjB3A8
More on Hermans stance on the Fed
1) Herman Cain is not against auditing the Fed.
2) Herman Cain is an advocate for a smaller govt & he believes that oversight should be done through Congress. Congress already gets testimony & regular reports on the FED, & any oversight/audit would be an extension of their duties. Specifically, the banking committee could perform this duty without the creation of a new govt (committee or presidential commission). Also, Mr Cain has stated that he is a supporter of Congressman Pauls bill for congressional oversight. Here are several videos where Mr. Cain discusses this:

Wow I guess he’s not perfect.
Well we better just all vote for Obama then. . . .
I think my comments agreed with you, great speaker, but not much beyond that to judge by. We already have that, do not need to go there again.
YOU seemed to not have covered this statement: (I’m sure it was an oversite)
Herman Cain in his own words:
Wake up people! Owning a part of the major banks in America is not a bad thing. We could make a profit while solving a problem. But the mainstream media and the free market purists want you to believe that this is the end of capitalism as we know it. -Herman Cain, re: TARP, 2008
[That statement makes him a socialist plain and simple]
If you read the links I provided, he said yes, he did support the concept of TARP, but not how it is implemented. No-one has said he never supported TARP.
When the details came out about TARP, he began criticizing it both in writing and on his radio show (around Feb 2009).
TARP, by the way, is not the same thing as bailouts. Most people who complain about it are lumping TARP, bailouts and the stimulus all together. TARP was a temporary fix, a short term loan, and no one likes to mention that it was by in large successful. That’s my opinion, and is not necessarily that of the candidate I support.
Speaking of candidates, I’m curious as to what candidate you support that did not support TARP at least early on. Bachmann is the only one I know of who is another potential candidate, and I love Bachmann, but she has made her share of misjudgments as well.
