give us the reading year by year and she how correct he is, or

The rise has dropped to 2.5 mm/year since around 2003 (coincident with the pause in "global warming") So your point is even stronger since the rise is slowing down not speeding up.

Your recollection matches mine. We were also told, in 2003, that global warming had reached the “tipping point” and from now on would be “rapid and irreversible.”

We are now told, that if we do not do something immediately, global warming will begin to gravely affect us.

Most of the sea level rises/artic melt predictions have been moved several decades on, to 2020.

You may also note that rate of sea level rise over
recent years has been less than the long-term average.
This is believed to be due to the recent La Nina's we
have been experiencing, though research on this is
