Cain we talk?
Augusta Chronicle ^ | May 26, 2011 | Editorial Staff

He will struggle for name recognition and money. He may have to split Tea Party votes with Michele Bachmann. And the media may be loath to warm up to a black conservative.

But anyone who saw Georgia's Herman Cain stirringly announce his candidacy for president Saturday in Atlanta knows this guy is the real deal -- and deserves a shot at the Republican nomination for the White House.

We eagerly admit being onto Herman Cain before a lot of others, having endorsed him for the U.S. Senate from Georgia in 2004, when we called the previously unknown and never-elected Cain "a superstar in the making."

A focus group after the first GOP presidential debate in South Carolina recently voted Cain the winner -- and catapulted him to legitimacy in many eyes.

The Palinista are getting as bad as the Paulist at being obnoxious.

Now what kind of idiot would think that calling people names, being rude, treating them like $#it would make them change their minds and move to the candidate that they are backing?

Anyone with brain knows that you can't browbeat some one into dropping their pick and moving to yours. If anything the only thing that such tactics do is make the person more adamant for their choice and adds to the negatives of the browbeater's choice. There are almost as many people who won't vote for Ron Paul because of his followers as there are those that won't because they just don't agree with him. My question is who are the Palinista going to go to if Palin doesn't run? Mitt? Newt? some other RINO?

If you've got a corner on the truth than God's a lawyer.

Your candidate made it truth, kid. 'Cain we talk' - that's all he's done - "vote for me, I can beat Obama". LOL! He's like McCain.

God is God, the Great I AM.

Give it a rest

That's about the size of it from a Cain supporter. Rest is what their candidate is all about. ZZZZZZZZZ

LOL!! I don’t decide who is fighting - they decide to fight or not! And Cain has NOT!! Not rocket science to know that - you just need to be awake.

So your definition of a fighter is “an opportunistic quitter”.

Sarah isn’t running and may not run.

As I said the only thing you are accomplishing is adding to Sarah’s negatives, people will remember how Sarah’s supporter (I use that term loosely with you) treated them and people are know by the company they keep and I think that soon people will be thinking how can I support someone who’s supporters are such obnoxious trash mouths? We would anyone want to join a group that has a spam monkey like you as a member?

I heard these same similar accusations 35 plus years ago about Reagan.

I don't know what you've been hearing. Perhaps you should get your ears checked.

Because Reagan was Governor of CA prior to becoming President. Herman Cain came in last in a 3-way Senate primary race and never got elected to zilch.

He later won 49 of the 50 states and became President... and was a DAMN good one.

Yes, and Herman Cain got elected to squat. What's your point?

I suggest you open your eyes and see the possibilities, and that included CAIN.

I'm fine with Cain firing up the Tea Party rallies and giving strong speeches. But he's not presidential material.

So your definition of a fighter is “an opportunistic quitter”.

The quitter still defeated an incumbent GOP Governor and an ex-Governor in a year where the GOP got their rears handed to them.

What did Cain do, besides losing to 2 RINOs?

I voted for the Hermantor in 2004 for Senator. He would have been great. Instead now we have RINO Johnny Isakson.

Sarah isn’t running and may not run.

Yeah, that's why she's premiering a movie in Iowa this summer and already has boots on the ground working underground for her.

You people suck at Poker.

Voters don't care about Cain's business background. They want to know what budgets he balanced, what he did to cut spending in government, how he advanced conservatism, etc.

Palin did all those things, before the haters tried to bankrupt her and her state.

As I said the only thing you are accomplishing is adding to Sarah’s negatives,

News alert - she doesn't have any negatives and only a liberal would spread the MSM talking points. However, on this conservative site - you stand out as a clueless troll with such a posting.

that soon people will be thinking how can I support someone who’s supporters are such obnoxious trash mouths

Looking at what everyone else does - isn't conservative - thanks for confirming the mindset that follows Cain. Don't forget trashing our Constitution - Cain doesn't want people to have rights - no photos for those peon voters! And the little sheep say ok papa, you know best. What wusses - just like their candidate. No conservative would ever entertain anyone who speaks out against our rights and has a sock in his mouth when obamacare was being passed. Like the rest of the rinos - they lack substance and more concerned about their own butt.

We would anyone want to join a group that has a spam monkey like you as a member?

How cute - a liberals' way of saying stop posting truth about our candidate! And this conservative says - TOUGH!!

GO SARAH!! America's PATRIOT - the Voice of Conservatism and the FIGHT that proves it! And the world watches...as a mom of 5 takes on the socialist's agenda SOLO!

When SARAH speaks - everyone listens and the 'rats and rino's tremble!

Got your liberal MSM cap on I see - and everyone else on this conservative site sees, also!

Nice job and shows the type who follow Cain! Make sure you have your bowl of propaganda pablum today, you are so yesterday - the old keeps regurgitating.

GO SARAH! America’s Patriot!! Taking the battle of Conservatism to a new level SOLO and the wusses are befuddled - ‘where does she get that brave spirit from’?! Sarah ROCKS and her opponents crumble.

WOO HOO!!

65 years old

Experienced

Zero elective office experience

Outsider; Not another carrer politician; successful businessman

Stage 4 liver and colon cancer survivor

Fighter; strong as heck

Blacks will smear him as an Uncle Tom

So? They're not voting for any Republican

Cain is simply unelectable

Doesn't sound like you have any basis for that opinion; typical dismissal of any candidate one doesn't like

Don’t look now, but you’re labeling yourself.

It will be interesting to see your future posts here on FR when no one responds as if YOU’RE NOT THERE.. because you’re not.

Liberals are always into labeling - how cute of you to prove it with your posts.

I'll say you'll miss me most - you seem drawn to me and will post any silly post to keep it that way. Get along now - surely you have something important to do - like wake up Cain, he must have slept in another day.
