Restore the Good in America

Link to Video

Our nation is at a critical turning point. As we look to the future, we are propelled by America's past. It's imperative that we connect with our founders, our patriots, our challenges and victories to clearly see our way forward. A good way to do this is to appreciate the significance of our nation's historic sites, patriotic events and diverse cultures, which we'll do in the coming weeks on our "One Nation" tour.   We'll celebrate the good things that bring Americans together; those things that will give us the needed strength to meet the heady challenges ahead. I’ve said many times that America doesn’t need a "fundamental transformation," instead we need a restoration of all that is good and strong and free in America! So, together let’s prepare ourselves for the days ahead by reminding ourselves who we are and what Americans stand for.   We'll celebrate the meaning of our nation's blueprints, our Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, which are the threads that weave our past into the fabric necessary for the survival of American exceptionalism. Our founders declared "we were born the heirs of freedom," and despite our difficulties and disagreements, we remain one nation under God in freedom, indivisible. Through visits to historical sites and patriotic events, we'll share the importance of America's foundation.   We encourage you to support the pro-America events we'll be privileged to participate in during these coming weeks. Discover the ties that bind Americans, our history, our traditions, and the exceptional nature of our country!

Since this video is at the start of every thread here I guess I see where Freep’s heart lies.
Sorry don’t like her, she plays to the low IQ crowd even though I do think she is smart.
I will vote for her if I have to - that is the most positive thing I can say about mrs Palin and her heehaw express.

Bless your heart! I guess you have us Redneck, Tea Party Patriots pegged. Maybe we'll rub off on ya!

This was at the Tea Party Express rally in Reno, NV last week (Go Sharron Angle!). The lady in the cowboy hat with the sweet smile is my wife Sheila. And that’s Syncro’s left eyeball in the upper left as he focuses his video camera.

Sarah was introduced to me by Sal Russo (leader of the Tea Party Express) who introduced me as Jim Robinson from freerepublic.com. She said thank you for all you guys have done, then leaned forward and gave me a little cheek to cheek hug. I took it as she loves the FReepers and pass it on to all of you!!

Woo hoo!! FR is Palin Country!!

Is this a site level endorsement of one non-candidate or simply coverage of a bus trip?

Sure she's smart.

If she played to the low IQ crowd, she'd get the Democrat vote.

I see her appeal as one to blue collar working America (or those who wish they were working).

Keep in mind that that segment of the population has plenty of technical skill, a fair amount of common sense, and has been watching the highly educated and well-credentialled make a thorough mess of things.

It is nice to appeal to those who are more than two standard deviations above mean intelligence, but that won't win an election by itself. After all, geniuses should be able to figure that out.

With the growing sense of 'us versus them', ('them' being the liberal government), she is siding firmly with 'us', and appealing to the salt of the Earth part of the American people who make things happen. That, FRiend, is smart.

So, FR is now some sort of Palin promotional site? I’m not complaining but something is odd around here, lately. Besides, I thought Jim Rob was married.

You know, it’s ironic that Jim Rob and a lot of posters here have wrapped their arms around Palin, same as McCain in 2007. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder how it’s going to work out this time?

You can support or not support whoever you want around here but....

1. FreeRepublic is not a pro abortion, pro gay marriage site per Jim Robinson and so all Mitt Romney supporters are warned or be zotted

2. As far as the last survey done earlier this year, Sarah Palin won the Free Republic poll if I recall correctly by 89% of the vote, so there is a huge contingence that support her here and Jim likes her although there is a very small but strong opposition against her that IS Allowed to post snarky remarks, liberal hit pieces and opposition to her, so this is a fair site

WTH is the matter with you making such a stupid, uncalled for remark about Jim's marital status?

FYI, the beautiful lady in the photo wearing the cowboy and sunglasses is Jim's wife Sheila.

Take your PDS concerns elsewhere.

Jim Robinson, like the rest of us TEA PARTY patriots, love Sarah Palin, but we also like Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann.

NO RINOS!!
