Mediaite has learned that Glenn Beck’s last day on Fox News is currently scheduled to be June 30th. Fox News has confirmed this information to Mediaite.

I’d guess that Fox News is seeing a rating loss across the board, not just Beck. It’s gone downhill lately, so much so that the only show I’ll watch is Bret Baier’s Special Report. And typically, I don’t watch all of that one, either.
I have some thoughts about the Beck show.
Yes, I know he’s controversial but only with the liberal loons.
His show, it’s not the kind of thing I want to watch at the 5 o’clock hour. The Beck show would do way better during, say, the O’Reilly hour...8pm, when folks are more apt to be done with supper and ready to sit and watch something a little more deep.
Tonight I was in taking a shower, prepping outfits...at 5pm...and I flipped the channel up to CNN. THIS was more what I wanted at the busy time slot...news type of items, something I can HEAR from the other room. A Beck drama during that time just would not do.
I doubt that Beck’s going anywhere. Oh he might not have a regular Fox show but I suspect he’ll have lots of specials, a perfect venue for him.
He’ll also get involved with organizing protests, that kind of thing.
We shall see.
Even Brett Baer’s become “All 0bama, All the Time”...I usually don’t watch the first 5 or 10 minutes because he always leads off with some 0bama drivel, just like everyone else. I’ve NEVER seen a president covered EVERY DAY like they do with 0bama.
Double Stuart Varney’s pay and let him have that slot.

I think he is starting his own network. He also has a big trip to the Holy Land in Aug..tune in for more info.
He’s said that he won’t let Jon Stewart and and Steven Colbert own the college crowd. He’s got GBTV.com locked up as a domain, although it’s just a blank page now.
Glenn made that announcement on his Thursday radio program, but Mediaite claims they “discovered” the information. What jerks!
