I've always believed this would be the most effective action by the jihadis...especially if 4-5 were to band together and take out a school or shopping mall. All with weapons purchased legally in the USA.
You may but unfortunately not everyone does....the point is to “terrorize”.....just look at a few recent incidents. All it takes is one person opening fire in a crowded mall to inflict the damage that they are looking for...it is not about HOW many people die and/or get injured...it is all about the PSYCHOLOGICAL effect these random attacks would create on the American psyche....
That would end our domestic, Muslim problem in a hurry. I live near a mosque, and wonder what would happen if Muslims started shooting at all the gun owners around here. We wouldn’t even need the well armed Mexican-Americans or scattered white people to shoot back. The Sikhs would probably do the job for us.

This may be something to take note of, but Al Qaeda is the merest shadow of itself as it was in 2001. To believe otherwise is to believe that we've done absolutely nothing since 9/11. They have nothing left, either in terms of men or material, with which to attack, and most of what you hear from them is actually other groups using their name. That's all they are now. Just a name.

We will have to watch the obama administration carefully and ensure that they don’t infringe on our 2nd amendment rights in a knee jerk response to ghadans call for violence.
