Chris Wallace on Palin Interview: First Time I Ever Thought ‘This Women Is A Serious Candidate’
MediaIte ^ | 6.5.11 | Matt Schneider

Posted on 06/05/2011 12:13:24 PM PDT by rface

After interviewing Sarah Palin, Chris Wallace talked about her with his panel of guests and revealed that he was very impressed with her appearance. Unlike previous times when he interviewed her, Wallace noticed “this wasn’t just ‘you betcha’ – she was pretty sharp on the issues.”

Wallace was eager to see if anyone else agreed with his review of Palin’s interview:

“I thought she was a boffo performance today. It was the first time that I ever saw her and thought ‘this woman is a serious – if she decides to run – candidate for President. And a serious possibility to be President.’”

I’d love to know what Piper was saying. She’s inscrutable, that one.

I’ve noticed she has changed her speaking pattern to sound more professional, less folksy. I always thought it was holding her back. Right now she has to concentrate to do it, but with time, it will become more natural.

I think it will be a few years.....but Piper has something to contribute, and the sas that will take her far, if she learns to focus it for her own benefit. She is learning a lot of first hand experiences.

Ah, okay, watched the video but didn’t hear from the other panel members. Elitist snobs expecting Romney to ride to the rescue and the tea party people are just hoi polloi! Just wait...if the midterms didn’t teach them this will make their little highbrow brains explode.

Chris, you’re a bit slow on the up take.

Piper won many a heart back at the acceptance speech. Such a little cutie.

If you missed it then watch the interview and ignore just the Panel!

The Panel is full of Elitist, inside the beltway crowd that will never get or accept Palin no matter what she does and so you can tell they bashed her even after she gave an excellent interview. You have to remember that with these Sunday morning shows, all of the panelist have a Preset talking point coming into the day, if these clowns were to go off script, they would be lost in thought and babbling over each other

He’s saying that because he was wrong in thinking that she wouldn’t be running for president. It’s also wrong for Wallace to talk about her past interviews. Did Tim Russert say that he wasn’t impressed with people in earlier interviews?

“I thought she was a boffo performance today. It was the first time that I ever saw her and thought ‘this woman is a serious – if she decides to run – candidate for President. And a serious possibility to be President.’” - Chris Wallace

Chris, we could have told you that months ago.

Podesta said that Romney would bebefit most by Palin’s entry so it the race would be between him and Sarah.

Snarky, smug, Bill Kristol said that by September Paul Ryan and Chris Christie will run and that GOP ticket will be

Ryan/Rubio.

Kristol added that Sarah Palin was a wonderful VP candidate but her negatives are too high now.

And the panel is getting worse and worse — not even a Brit Hume any more. And adding John Podesta? WTF is Fox thinking? One semi conservative, one faux conservative, one screaming liberal and one Soros hack far far lefty.

That sounds like a Morning Joe panel to me.

If my history is correct, Reagan went through the same progression. If you naturally speak in such a way that connects with the South Dakota farmer or the Texas oil field worker or the Ohio housewife, the media elite are going to think you’re an idiot because you don’t talk like they do or the people they know. Sarah is an idiot in the same way that Reagan was an idiot - which in a way is a very good thing.
