After interviewing Sarah Palin, Chris Wallace talked about her with his panel of guests and revealed that he was very impressed with her appearance. Unlike previous times when he interviewed her, Wallace noticed this wasnt just you betcha she was pretty sharp on the issues.
Wallace was eager to see if anyone else agreed with his review of Palins interview:
I thought she was a boffo performance today. It was the first time that I ever saw her and thought this woman is a serious if she decides to run candidate for President. And a serious possibility to be President.

Watched a documentary on Huey Long. Huey was smart, as smart as or smarter than Newt. But when he went to Washington, he did had this “stemwinder” style that appealed to farmers. (Lincoln had the same style, so he did not give speeches like Roland Massey did in the film “Abe Lincoln in Illinois.” but flung his arms around and moved his feet. Toward the end, as he started seriously about running for President. He stopped all that, and began speaking to the newsreal cameras in a calmer way. Even his speaking style was a lot less “country.” The FDR people were scared to death of him. If Long had not been killed in September. 1935, he would have been running for Presient in 1936, and FDR was by no means a shoe-in, because the Depression was still going.
I also think her aim is to force the GOP candidates to sharpen their rhetoric on top issues.
.
my thoughts as well.
Palin/Ryan 2012
...plus her views on foreign policy is shaping up to go up against Kristol’s neo conservatives viewpoints...he went after her a couple of weeks ago trying to make her look like a Ron Paul isolationist, which he was wrong
Kimberly Strassal has gotta be a transsexual. She is sooooo homely I got my husband into the room to check her out. And she has the Seinfeldian “man hands.” That’s one rough-looking broad. No wonder she hates Sarah!
I like Demint, too. Not until I saw him on youtube. however, did I realize he is so lowkey. He manages to get the Establishment’s blood boiling without shouting.
I would actually prefer to see Ryan stay on in the House as Speaker in a Palin administration. You’re right, of course, when you assert that were he to declare, the race would be all about his budget, not 0bama’s shortcomings. He has a lot to offer. He’s a man of rectitude and principle, and that’s the reason why I want him to be Speaker of the House.
AHHH! EXCELLENT!
Her negatives are the attitudes of the ruling class, nothing more. That's it. She has no intrinsic negatives, only extrinsic negatives based on contempt for the Constitution and the American Way of Life.
Apparently Chris just stated listening today.
She already said that she welcomes all potentials in the race but SAID there is no one she would get behind.
She’s running - No one approaches a film director (Stephen Bannon) in late 2010 to commission him to produce videos of their record while in office to show to the mass public if they weren’t seriously thinking about running in 2012, everything point to her running.
Agreed! She had him doing the ‘butt monkey’ several times.
Can we wedge Cain in there somewhere...?
He’s very lowkey and soft spoken but DeMint gets things done and he’s true to his word. I trust him.
Chris Wallace actually said “Boffo”???
What an idiot.
Palin is one of the strongest forces for good in this country.
That’s why leftists will come up will kinds of devious attempts to marginalize her.
‘Mommy, can we keep riding around in this big bus, until you get tired and decide to write another book? When can we do another TV show?’
Ya’ll got to get over this Palin LOVE....this is getting ridiculous.
Yeah, I’m a Ronald Reagan Republican and I’m sick of listening to Palin with the ah shucks gimmick she is working....move on.
Paul Ryan liked Mitch Daniels but alas! he’s not running.
Sarah Palin has firmly endorsed Paul Ryan’s plan at every opportunity. I don’t know whether Ryan wants to be drafted to run himself. He would definitely be on the defensive from day one, whereas obama is the one that must be on the defense all through campaign 2012.
His record is truly indefensible.
BUMP!
Spot on!
He meets the Jus Soli requirement, but IIRC he doesn't meet the Jus Sanguinis requirement.
There are plenty of good spots for him - I think we're better off leaving the top two spots to folks who are unquestionably NBC.
Yes, it is always desirable for the enemy to underestimate your strength.
That was Reagan's style as well (and it was genuine for a Midwesterner) what drove the media elites NUTS!
Run Sarah Run!
There just won't be an all out conservative network. Maybe the powers-to-be have warned anyone with that idea or maybe there aren't the positioned people that are true conservatives. As we know, it would be the top watched network.
Of course there's no one she'll get behind at the moment. Like I said, she's baiting the WH guns. If she endorsed anyone even slightly those guns would shift from her.
No one approaches a film director (Stephen Bannon) in late 2010
Nothing Palin does is conventional...that's the beauty of her. It works to her purpose (which is baiting and also articulating the general GOP platform) to get her message out in as many ways as possible (including the film).
Mind you, I won't be really surprised if she runs...I just don't think that's her plan right now.
I wonder how serious he thinks the creep in the white house is
cool...it's a free country, don't listen.
BTW, and your candidate is---?
Bill Kristol is just a smug elite who’s all of 5’4”.
Like most anti-Palinoids here on FR, never read her growing archive of lucid and authoritative position papers.
She’s very sharp and she does do her homework. Just as she hid her beauty behind her glasses so people would take her seriously, she hid her intellect behind her folksiness. It’s what worked for connecting with people in Alaska.
But she’s addressing the broader country now, and that more serious, executive demeanor suits her well in more formal interviews.
I believe the common touch and the executive seriousness are both aspects or facets of who she is. Looks like she’ll use them both well in campaigning and governing.
PS I know she’s had a foreign policy advisor for a couple of years now, and I expect she’s been schooling herself there as well. That befits a guv moving up to the presidency, and knowing her I imagine she’s really dug in on it.
All these guys, instead of eating crow as she continues to prove her depth and mastery, will simply talk about how she has ‘grown’ and developed into a serious presidential candidate.
I’m afraid that will have to be good enough for us.
He realized she IS serious, serious indeed and beautiful, charming and ultra-feminine to boot!
When he asked about the "no need to have her and Michelle Bachmann in the race as the "appeal to the same constituency and she pointed out but a few differences (though I'm certain that they are friendly, if not friends.)
Watch those "fems" go nuts (not only on the show but every else.)
Hope Chris doesn't get his, eh talking to when he gets home (for that soup, Sarah mentioned that too to show she DID watch his show.)
If Palin gets the nomination, she needs someone like him. He reminds me of Dick Cheney.
Where? What shows you that she isn’t thinking about running right now?
So then.... Chris Wallace is a bad judge of character and a journalist drooler..
You know “slow to wake up” like his Daddy.. or Crankhammar..
It is because she would not allow Roger Ailes to be her puppet master. They are trying to get her to resign and hurt her by bashing her. Ailes having to fire her is tantamount to a victory by Plain.
One has to wonder if Chris plans to exempt himself and his from his blaterings. His stupidty, his bank accts. etc.
Reagan never spoke like that. He was very polished and never would make a screw up like not knowing about Paul Revere. Sarah is good, but not that good...
Reagan never spoke like that. He was very polished and never would make a screw up like not knowing about Paul Revere. Sarah is good, but not that good...
They may also be trying to look as though they are NOT supporting her in any political ambitions. The Democrat-media complex will not buy it, but I believe that is what they are trying to put forward.
It’s perfect for addressing some crowds but not of the airwaves and not for some locations.
Sarah Palin Stands By Her Correct Historical Account of Paul Revere’s Ride
Sorry libs.
Sarah Palin stood by her correct historical account of Paul Revere’s ride(s) on FOX News Sunday.
For those of you who are unschooled, Paul Revere warned the American militias and the British troops during his infamous rides... by jackohoft

My maiden name was Long. I had fun in Louisiana -- even though I said "no relation," nobody believed me.
I mentioned that months ago and was criticized for it, but I noticed the same thing. She sounded reasonable.
However, she will be pounded for her incomplete and unclear statement regarding Paul Revere. Mike didn't press it. Since they both work for FOX, I understand that, but eventually, she will have to go on the other networks.
It's there she will sink or swim.
Her negatives are all made up Journ-o-list/Rove Republican lies, smears and deliberate misrepresentations of things she’s said or done.
He must be betting on a 3rd party run
Oregon Tide LOVES Donald Trump. Trump's Newt-like lies about the Ryan plan gives Oregon Tide the happy chills.
To each their own.
