NEW YORK – New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner (WEE'-nuhr) says racy, shirtless pictures that appeared on a website are him and he's apologizing for what he calls making terrible mistakes.

During a teary-eyed press conference, he says he won't resign.

After all, it was a picture of himself that he sent, not anyone else’s.

This guy is trying his darndest to limit the damage solely to himself, which is true, but he surely is taking pains to keep any connection of his wife to Hillary. He is apologizing only because he got caught, not because there is a real sense of contrition or repentance - or none that I can see judging from his remarks. His arrogance is almost under control in his press conference but his refusal to seek professional help belies his true thoughts. What a crock.

ABC info babe made a good point. New York is losing congressional seats because of the census and the legislature is likely to throw this prick in with another Democrat to get rid of him. He is almost certainly going to face a primary opponent.
