Palin, Bachmann Taking GOP Race by Storm
NEWSMAX ^ | 6-6-2011 | Martin Gould

Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin are taking the Republican presidential race by storm — even though neither has formally announced they will run.

The former Alaska governor and the Minnesota congresswoman, who insist they are friends not rivals, are showing all the signs that they will provide GOP voters with their first genuine opportunity to vote for a female in the White House in 12 years.

Each has the money, the backing, and the name recognition to go the distance against the men. And, as GOP Pollster Kellyanne Conway points out, their “groomed attractiveness” is also a major plus.

“They look like homecoming queens, but they talk like Ronald Reagan. Who wouldn’t want that combination?” Conway tells the Washington Post.

Bachmann has already started attacking Palin through Rollins. She is toast, a nobody with no chance of ever winning, only in the race to hurt Palin. Nice knowing you , Micky.

These two stalwart and courageous ladies are simply obeying a law of physics:

They are filling the vacuum created by the absence of testicular mass from the male pussies on the Republican side.

Stalking horse who has no business being mentioned in the same story with Governor Palin, whose record stands head and shoulders above any of the other so called candidates. She’s running to help Romney.

Exactly. If Bachmann gets any traction, Romney walks to the nomination.

No executive experience. You forgot to add that. She also makes gaffes and I, personally, don’t think Bachmann is qualified.

as GOP Pollster Kellyanne Conway points out, their “groomed attractiveness” is also a major plus.

The REAL "major plus" is that these two WOMEN have more Conservative bones in their bodies and "balls" than MOST (with the possible exception of Cain, West, and maybe Perry) of the men running, or possibly running, on our side COMBINED.

Two good looking and accomplished American women..
Whats not to like..

Attacking either of them is a fools task..
They need to both start a “Good Guy, Good Guy” tactic to combat the media..

I would proud to vote for either of them OR BOTH of THEM..
WHo is to be VeeP is the question..

“She is officially just another DC politician.”

If you are referring to today’s attack on Sarah Palin, I agree.

I’m going to give her a Mulligan on that one, but if the destructive crap continues....

All right, call me confused. The article states, "...are showing all the signs that they will provide GOP voters with their first genuine opportunity to vote for a female in the White House in 12 years."

??????

What female was on the GOP ticket in 2000? For that matter, besides Palin, what female was EVER on the GOP ticket, let alone 12 years ago?????

The 2008 election (which by my math was only 3 years ago, not 12) had Palin running for VP under the GOP ticket. So, that election WASN'T a GENUINE opportunity?????? What the.....?!?!?!? What rock has this guy been living under??

I will not be donating another dime to Bachmann after her callers were rude and obnoxious and she just hired Ed Rollins to be her Palin attack dog.

Screw her. She is just a stalking horse for Romney and the GOP elites to split the conservative vote.

But it is not the way one types the English language.

If you think that's bad, take a look at many of the posts around here.

Free Republic posts are full of poor grammar, spelling and punctuation; written by the same people who criticize education today. Either they think it's hip, or they're just lazy, or didn't pay attention when they were in grammar school. Talk about being "dumbed down."

Yes, we heard you the first time. Irony hurts. But it’s funny.
