Casey Anthony cries and looks away as photos of Caylee's duct-taped skull are shown in court

Casey Anthony's murder trial was cut short today when she was taken ill after pictures of her dead daughter's skull were shown.

Anthony cried and looked away as graphic photos of her two-year-old daughter Caylee's remains were shown to the jury at the trial in Orlando. Judge Belvin Perry had warned anyone who might become queasy to leave the courtroom before the images were displayed.

Shortly after the images were shown he sent the jury home for the day, asking them not to speculate about why court was ending early.

Earlier in the day Anthony's brother, Lee, testified his sister had told him a nanny abducted her daughter because she didn't think the 25-year-old was a good mother.

Anthony dabbed her eyes with a tissue as a series of images revealed how pieces of duct tape were still attached to her daughter's remains.

She is on trial accused of murdering little Caylee in June 2008, before hiding her body in the woods near her home. Caylee's remains were not found until December that year.

The evidence can be found in post #11. (Of course there's more, but you'd have to have followed the case to know. I doubt if anyone here really wants to recap the whole case for someone who doesn't want to do the reasearch form him or herself.)

The court is going to determine whether the photos will prejudice the jury.

Everyone should wear a flag every now and then to party while they are looking for their missing daughter.

And instant messages between her and her boyfriend during the time Caylee was missing.

The picture proves nothing

It proves she was partying while she said she was looking for her daughter. The daughter that evidence shows was chloriformed by her and stuck in the back of her car, with duct tape on her mouth and nose, in a laundry bag and double bagged in two trash bags, while she was going from one boyfriend's bed to the next one.

Premeditated murder...

Prosecutors sought to tie Internet searches for ‘chloroform’ on the family computer to their theory that Casey Anthony subdued her daughter with chloroform before killing her.

The testimony is important because it supports the prosecution’s theory that Anthony used chloroform to subdue her daughter, Caylee, before suffocating her by wrapping the toddler’s head in duct tape. The dead child’s body was then kept for a period of time in the trunk of Ms. Anthony’s car, prosecutors allege.

The Internet search is also important to the prosecution’s case because the searches were conducted in March 2008, roughly three months before Caylee went missing. Prosecutors will cite the chloroform search as evidence that Caylee’s death was premeditated.

Not only was she never married, she can’t (or won’t) disclose the father of Calee. She claims he’s dead. The parents of the dead friend of hers, who might be a possibility, know nothing about a possible grandchild; and I don’t think that anyone has ever supplied DNA to try for a match.

This is just about the saddest story I’ve ever heard about a little girl who never had a chance. When I think about all the people who would have gladly adopted that child (including her grandmother) I just want to cry. Did I mention that Casey is also selfish (in addition to all the other names I called her)?

God is good that I don’t live in Floriada and couldn’t possibly have been called to sit on that jury.

"She used the same tissue for the entire day. Very few tears were coming from her eyes and I guarantee you they were for herself and not Caylee"

I've been keeping up with the trial and was watching today as the medical examiner talked about Caylee's remains...Casey Anthony did use the same tissue for the entire day...I found it interesting that she only cried from her right eye though...and then only dabbing at that one so as not to mess up her mascara I guess, and to blow her nose...that tissue was dry...Baez doesn't have a prayer imho...

Casey still looking for her missing daughter Caylee while entering the hot body contest at a local club. She is wearing her new dress and push up bra she bought at Target with stolen checks from her friend, Amy, while using Amy's car while she was on vacation.

No tears here but today she MAYBE figured out that she was going to the death chamber.

That she is a sociopath? Simple, she didn’t report her daughter’s disappearance for 31 days, she went partying like everything was super fantastic..she has lied about everything she has ever done, from being employed at Universal Studios to having a nanny, even making up imaginary people..she only cries when it suits her..she is just plain evil

“Chief Judge Belvin Perry warned the jury that it would see graphic pictures this morning.”

The jury saw the pix and heard the testimony. The weren’t there when Anthony left and then returned to the court room having used up her one kleenex.

Is this a death penalty case?

Yes it is. Does anyone know if any of these mothers who kill their children actually get death?

She'll absolutely be convicted. If she does get the death penalty it'll be because she lied, partied and then blamed her behavior on sex abuse (no evidence) by her father and also implicated her father in the real story that the baby drown accidentally.

That might outrage the jury enough for them to kill her.

Was there evidence in the case to support this? I’m not trying to attack you. I’m just wondering where that information came from.

Her lawyers did not try for an insanity plea (hard to qualify for as I understand it), and there do not appear to be any mental health experts on their witness list.

Here is an example of a lie from Casey: When her daughter was first reported missing, Casey said the Nanny had taken her. In explaining her story to the police, she mentioned a phone that she had at work with someone's phone number in it that they wanted.

The police, very quickly, realized she had no job. But they offered to meet her at work to get the phone. They went through the gate, she pointed out a building, entered the building and had to get almost all the way to the end of a hallway before she stopped, turned around, and told the police, "I don't really work here."

Her defense team have emphasized her "unusual" behavior, her vast number of lies, and blamed it all on sex abuse from her father. There is no evidence this ever occurred. They have embraced the idea of Crazy-Casey in order to get the jury to vote life, but they don't want to have to actually PROVE she's nuts.

Yes, there is tons of evidence. Way to much to respond to in a post. Please catch up on the case and decide for yourself.
