The mainstream media and their fellow moonbats are in a frenzy today, counting the minutes until the 1 p.m. EDT official release of 24,199 pages of Gov. Palin e-mails.
The Washington Post has set up a Twitter account for the e-mails, PalinEmails.
As noted yesterday, The Washington Post and The New York Times are recruiting help from their readers in reviewing the e-mails for dirt on Palin.
The Los Angeles Times is also setting up a database for the e-mails, which have to be scanned as they are only being released in paper form.
Reporters from the U.S. and around the world are in Juneau awaiting the release.
The Guardian has a live thread by a reporter in Juneau.

I haven’t been following this very closely so my question is, is this a normal release of information? I mean, is there anything unusual about this (minus the media excitement)? Does Alaska usually release previous Governor’s correspondence, emails, etc, after a certain amount of time? I’m still struggling to figure out what the big deal here is.

I’m sure if there’s so much as a tiny typo or misspelled word they’ll be on it like flies. Naturally, they won’t consider the irony of the fact that on most liberal boards, no one can spell or has the slightest interest in grammar.

After Weiners x-rated texting this is going to be like the Disney version of electronic mail. To be sure, the haters will try to make something from nothing. But if they do and more Weiner facts are released or some other newsworthy item, they’ll have wasted their time and energy.

One question I have is how is it that there are copies of all these emails—was she required, as governor, to keep printouts? I delete old emails—there’s no way I have room on my computer for years of old emails.

And the downside of that is what? Forget the citizenship issue. His two-year record of incompetence would prove it.

Where were all these investigations and reviewings when Obama was running for President?

Ok... this is getting ridiculous. It’s bad enough that the country’s most prominent newspapers are begging for activists to sort through these emails to find any possible “dirt” (what ever happened to the newspapers actually being able to do their own research?), but must we allow ourselves to be ragged down to this level with the whole “live thread” thing?
They're being released pursuant to an FOIA request (or whatever the state equivalent is).
LSM will regret their decision to “out” Palin’s
emails. My prediction is their content will

When I first caught wind of this ‘story’ a few days ago, I had no idea except the obvious one, of what this was about>
Now it looks like the obvious one, the potential for criminalizing normal political discourse and communication, might be all there is behind it. BUT on what legal basis is this even possible, the requisitioning of years of emails?
On whose authority, and to prove WHAT???
