They’ll probably get this Lance Corporal for vandalism, possession of burglary tools, possession of a deadly weapon, exerting excess force on the bad guy, terrorism, attempted murder, vehicular breaking and entering, leaving his keys where a thief could find them, littering the street with glass, disturbing the peace, interfering with the civil rights of the robbers, and, of course, indecent exposure.
I’m sure some British folks could fill in all the other charges I’ve overlooked.
If they catch the bad guys, they’ll say, “Sorry. Wrong house, wrong car. No harm meant.” And someone will believe them and let them go.
Then they’ll sue the soldier. And win.
Or, as is more likely, no charges will be brought against him, he’ll become a local celebrity and will never have to buy another pint in the boozer again.
As naturalman said, this man has done nothing wrong.
