So, How’s that “HOPE AND CHANGE” working out for you??
Wouldn’t it be a kick in the butt to find out that her “handwritten letter” was done by a secretary?
Gosh, it did not turn out to be the change you needed, eh lady?
Well the complaint department line forms over there and you can make another change in 2012.
An eight-year mess? Be serious, it's more like a 70 year mess.
barry the zero DIDN’T pay her rent?
Arggh! Where to even start. “Partner”, children with “partner”, no job, expectations that someone else will do her work: “We need a three bedroom”, cult of victimization: “I’m not working, so no-one is giving me a chance.” (Duh, honey, landlords like to have some expectation that you can pay your rent), etc. It’s very sad. She’ll never understand why her life is like it is and what she could have done differently.
That about says it all...................
>>She graduated top of her class in 2005<<
Followed by her letter with “who is going to fair better” in the subject line...
or a machine...................
I still wonder what sort of change folks were expecting if they, themselves, made no change on their own? (There’s that definition of insanity, you know.)
AOTUS (auto pen of the US) saves a family!
Maybe she can get a job as an ATM.
It looks like she's looking for a free house!!
I wish no one ill. He didn't steer her to her local community group??
What's with his "you inspire me"....There's zip inspiring about her letter.
HAHAHAHAHA What a sucker. Sadly, we’re still paying for this person’s spawn.
Let’s see. 26 years old, unemployed with 3 children and no partner(male or female - didn’t say which).
Yep! Sure sounds like an 0bama follower
Hope and Change=EPIC FAIL
What she needs to do is join a local Evangelical church, get involved with a community of Christians and receive the support that will make her a strong, independent woman and mother. She might also find a husband willing to make a life time commitment to her and the children.
Exactly, he could have easily sent her to one of his minions to get a job stuffing ballot boxes or something.
“Her third baby was born prematurely with health problems and with limited daycare options she could no longer work.”
Sorry to hear that, I have been there. Guess what, we managed. My son was born at 32 weeks. FAMILY helped us get by.
“Her partner also left around this time.”
WTF is a “partner”? You mean she didn’t have a husband?
“With nowhere else to turn, she decided to write the President a letter.”
Well.. He did offer to buy a woman a house I guess. However, the president is the LAST person I’d send a letter to when it comes to a personal problem. The first call I’d make is to family and friends.
“’I am still behind you 100 per cent and so is my family, My dad is a disabled Vietnam Veteran and he tells my seven-year-old son, Silas, that he should strive to be just like you.”
Thanks for your service dad but the whole bunch of you are ficking idiots if you think Zero is going to do ANYTHING for you.
Given that, in this state, when you have 3 kids and no job they shower all sorts of “benefits” on you. Perhaps she should stop with the letter writing and fill out a welfare application.
Most of these people who expected “hope and change” are now saying “Where’s ma check?”
One last thing.
‘We need to move as soon as possible. We need a three bedroom. I’m not working, so no-one is giving me a chance.’
to don’t NEED a 3 bedroom. you WANT one. I suggest you go out and get a damn job. My family of 4 lived in 1 br for 6 months because it was all we could afford at the time.
Keep your knees together Destiny.
Looked at eBay for “signed Obama” stuff. Lots of stuff with a high “Buy it Now” price (Hoping for Change?, but the only thing that was bid on was a signed copy of one of ihs books for around $175.00.
She’s going to need more than that to pay the rent!
She NEEDS a checkup from the neckup.
With no husband in the picture, she decides to have a third child?
“She said: ‘I am just a little bit weary of the promises that (Obama) has made. I really haven’t been seeing any kind of changes that affect me directly.”
The Lord helps those who help themselves.
>>Shes going to need more than that to pay the rent!<<
In the article it says this would be worth $11,000. Seems high to me but I am not a collectibles expert. Maybe she can go on Pawn Stars and Rick can call in one the experts he seems to always have immediately available... ;)
>>With no husband in the picture, she decides to have a third child?<<
Someone should tell her modern science has finally figured out what causes children to be conceived.
I think what she’s “weary” of is that the “promises” that 0bama supporters INFERRED (getting that big check from The Man) weren’t ever intended to happen,
but that 0bama nor his campaign team never disabused their voters of.
It was worth finding:
“Boo friggin’ hoo!!! No sympathy here. I HOPE THAT THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED, AND VOTED, FOR OBAMA GET HIT FIRST AND HARDEST. “
I agree 100%. Sadly, those idiots won’t realize their vote made their situation worse.
Says it all.
Back in (I believe) 2010, it was Jennifer Cline from Monroe, Michigan writing to Obama and then selling the letter he sent to her.
That's the ticket!
Idi Obama can "write off" the national debt with just 1,272,272,272,272, give or take a few trillion, personal "atta boy/girl/it letters!
Look at the "B" in the God Bless...and look at the "B" of Barack's signature. They sure don't match. If this letter fetches anything, the buyer is stupid. It is most likely written by a WH staffer and one of the thousands of pieces signed by BO who probably never saw her letter.
Beyond that...the woman does not know the difference between "fare" and "fair." Not surprising. They only know the word fair...as in...It isn't fair that the gub'ment does not support me and all my kids even though I don't work, there is no daddy around, I never married and just got pregnant when I wanted (no thought of pregnancy protection), and my father is a Vietnam Vet...so I should get all I want - forever - from the gub'ment. That's only fair!
Boy, the liberal media sure has gotten that “8-year mess” beaten firmly into the minds of the stupid...
The Bush Economy was FINE for 6 years until the democraps took over Congress and bad-mouthed it into the tank, helped by the Democrap Barney Frank’s housing disaster (which NO ONE has been held accountable for)
Bush AND McCain tried to fix the housing crisis BEFORE it happened (in 2006) only to be beaten down by the Democraps in Congeress.
The mantra that it was “Bush’s Fault” is 100% LIE and the stupid pussies in the GOP let the liberal media get away with it year after year after year
NO ONE IN THE GOP will get a dime from me until ONE OF THEM SPEAKS THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS
I think Palin will.
Who needs a husband when you can have the US taxpayer pay your bills? If anything, shouldn't this dam be getting child support payments from her various sires? Why are we as taxpayers always on the hook for children that we did not go through the fun of making ourselves?
A full handwritten letter is worth more than just a signature, and the topic of the letter also adds value. $11,000 sounds way too high to me, though. That sounds more like something from Roosevelt or Eisenhower.
Agreed! And also saying “That’s all I git”
Three babies and a partner.
Maybe she can move in with Aunt Zeituni....
I love it!!!
OMG that would be funny to see her ask for $11,000 and have Rick fall down on the floor LHAO
I think it's high, too, unless the "irony factor" behind the letter is worth $10,000.
I'm no expert but I do follow Pawn Stars, and for $11,000 I think you could probably buy a letter signed by a "real" and significant US President who can't crank out a bunch of new ones, because he's dead. Plus a motorcycle, or a nice antique gun, or maybe both.
You couldn't pay me enough to hang that letter on my wall, so I won't be bidding.
Destiny, you just got to hang in there. My ‘shovel-ready’ jobs are just about ready. Honest. I promise you.
At my church we get calls for assisstance, just about every day, from people in or similar to her situation, they are not our church members, have never been to our church and have no intention to attend, they just know that churches give things away and they want some.
A long time ago our resources stretched past the point where we could help everybody and so they have to be explained to that we are doing our best to help needy members in our own church and can't help them at this time. Some get very upset that we can't help them pay their rent or car payment. "You're a church aren't you? You're supposed to help people!", we stay nice as possible with them but have to stay firm in denial, we simply help our own first and that's usually with food, not cash.
Also, as Christians, part of our obligation, is to 'assist the poor", we do not have an obligation to help enable the life style of some of the seekers and again, we don't have the resources to look into other people's life styles, to determine if our money and food would enable someone to continue in the drug culture for example. Most of our own needy members and their situations, we know already and we try to be good stewards of God's money. After all, everything we have is His.
Reiterating, Your advice is sound. Join a Christian community and when you are in need, help will be found for you.
Obama needs to write her another letter telling her that she’s just another BITTER unemployed single young black mother CLINGING to the “need” of a three bedroom private home.
I’ll give her 11 bucks for it. But she pays shipping.
