That sounds like a fortuitous coincidence. Is this current guy a Dem and typically liberal-minded like this? I usually don’t know anything about the judges on the ballot so I skip voting on them. I’d rather do that than take the 50/50 coin toss approach.

I vote the straight Republican ticket. As far as I'm concerned the benefit of the doubt goes to the Republican candidate. Then if for some reason there is a Republican candidate I think is not qualified for the job or whom I morally can't support, then modify my ballot for that race.

Last time I spanked my daughter was at age 6. She was throwing a tantrum... kicking, screaming, crying, throwing things, flailing around all because she didn’t get her way. I turned her over my knee and smacked her bare butt with the palm of my hand ten times. She cried but knew it was time to stop. Never had to spank her again.

That’s why it’s CRITICAL to continue with party affiliation in these judicial elections. While it may not be perfect, and mistakes are made, at least the Republican candidates get vetted and conservative voters are generally able to vote the Republican ticket and get a pretty good bunch of judges.

I met this potential candidate again on Monday at the Republican Club meeting. I found out he was not yet of Facebook, so I got his email address and sent him an online invitation to join Facebook. He currently has 55 Facebook friends after less than 24 hours. I'm hoping to get his friend list up to 500 in a month.
