ARLINGTON, Va. — Authorities took one person into custody and closed roads around the Pentagon Friday after a "suspicious device" was found in a car, NBC News reported.
One or two other suspects who "fled the scene" on foot were being hunted by police, according to NBC News' Jim Miklaszewski.
Although it was not immediately clear what the device was, one official told NBC News that "it looks like a bomb."
The incident brought traffic to a standstill in the area.
NBCWashington.com reported that the suspicious vehicle was discovered on Washington Boulevard.

I never trust initial reports on any incident. WTOP says nada; WMAL says “several.” Once DHS checks in, Janet will complain that profiling was done just because the arrested perp is a Muslim male under 35.

Yet..somehow the libs don’t see anything wrong with the lack of women’s rights in Islam. Years ago(before 911 and before Bush) the libs didn’t say one word when the Taliban was killing woman and children in stadiums in Afghanistan. They didn’t say one word when women were not allowed to attend schools there or that the Taliban was running the country with a bloody Islamic iron fist or that people were starving to death and begging on the streets....BUT BOY.....when they blew up the Budda statues...ONLY THEN DID THEY HAVE A FIT!

I live in the WDC area. This whole place is a center for moozlums (especially Arlington and Fairfax counties). There mosques all over the place and various moozlum schools. When (and if) the SHTF it will be interesting. At least most are easily recognizable (not that i would profile, of course, because that would be wrong).
I confess, I profile. It is good I am not with any LEA or I would be prosecuted to the maximum. Heck, profiling is great tool to find out who the enemy is. So you have me red-handed, I profile.

You don't have to go even that far. Look at how they defend Anthony Weiner. Talk about disrespectful. Weiner looks at women as sex objects for his own self-gratification. He strokes his ego by sending disgusting photos of himself to women he doesn't even know, carries on disrespectful sexual conversations with them, and then jerks off to it. In Weiner's mind, women are good for one thing only - his own selfishness.
Have you seen a single liberal come out and condemn Weiner for his treatment of women? Instead, you get Barbara Walters making excuses for him and Chrissy Mathews actually blaming his wife for his 'indiscretions'.

My lib sis was defending Weiner the other day. When I told her it amounted to sexual harrassment, she got real quiet. It’s hard to have any respect for her views anymore. Before she started worshipping Obama...she was more of a liberterian...now she is a hopeless Obot. Very sad.
