Many of us have known for a long time that pro-death policies would have disastrous consequences.

Interesting that leftists are Darwinists. Their policies and practices are anti-Darwinian.

The only reason our population is not falling is the poverty of Mexico and our open borders

Look around...children are no longer seen as a gift from God, but a debit on the bottom line..

We are a nation of pampered one or two children per family .. “little emperors”

Soon we will be knocking grandma off too..

It is now a culture of him that has the most toys wins.. children do not count

A generation ago in my neighborhood the smallest family had 3 kids.. the average was 5 with a couple of mega families with 10 or more

The summer sounds were sweet.. now we have silent summers.. kids in day care or camp.. sooo sad wag

I have thought for years that abortion had moved from being “merely” a moral issue to a National Security issue. Nowadays, I am absolutely certain of it. Abortion should be illegal in almost all circumstances.

It is white Christian Europe that is dying.

The Eurosocialists are consumed by their pathological narcissism and simply have to hit every “must see” and “must do” on their bucket lists, before their pathetic, self-absorbed lives are Fin.

Why is the United States funding Pro or Anti-Natal programs in Europe.

What they do there is their business and not ours.

It’s bad enough we are killing our own next generation, while sponsoring the rise of Hispanics in this country. It certainlt isn’t our affair how often Europeans breed.

Since 1973 there have been over 53 million abortions. Many of those murdered would now be adults and have children of their own.

Social Security and Medicare are in trouble primarily because abortion interfered with population growth.

The economy is in trouble because you need an expanding population to continue population growth (the 1980s and 90s had a declining population growth, the economy only grew so dramatically because the Baby Boomers were in their prime earning/spending years).

The reason we have so many illegal aliens is because (the past couple years notwithstanding) there simply aren't enough Americans to do the jobs.

When the Baby Boom started after World War II, the parents of these children spoiled them so they would not have to face the same hardships they did. The Boomers wanted sex without consequence, so they got the Pill. They wanted even less consequence, so they got abortion. They didn't want families, the nation became more accepting of divorce and unmarried people living together. EVERYTHING the Baby Boomers asked for they got, now they are getting older and they are about to find out that they didn't have enough children to support them and many of them are probably going to be killed to save money.

“It is white Christian Europe that is dying.”

Exactly.

The muslims are coming, and breeding. Out of the ashes will rise Frankistan, Germanistan, Englandistan, etc.

It won’t be pretty, but it appears Europe will see another attempt at ethnic cleansing in the near future, and the declien of America will leave her unable to assist.

Has Europa figured out that gays cant reproduce, and maybe they should be focused on getting straight people to do what nature made them to do?

I don't think he was discussing programs in Europe that the US funded, he was talking about needing pro-natal programs in the US.

That being said, it very much IS our business what Europe does. Isolationism became obsolete centuries ago and will not work. American security is very much impacted by what happens in Europe.

One of the things that PO’s me most is that people who ARE responsible for their kids (provide for health, education, etc.) are not able to have lots of kids, while welfare broodmares have their bastards subsidized by us, the taxpayer.

Not only are we killing our progeny, but the wrong people seem to have the most kids...

####

With our historically unprecedented debt, fueled by an ever-growing voting populace of entitlement parasites and bureaucrats, we will be lucky to afford scraps of recycled newsprint to wipe our behinds.

The pro-death policies are part of the problem, but not the whole problem.

To start with, it has long been established in demographics that when a given country reaches a particular economic plateau, *unique to it*, suddenly the birthrate drops from strong growth, with 6 or 7 children per family, two between 2.1 and 2.3 children per family, which is the rate of population balance.

Importantly, in almost all cases, the prevailing culture and government cannot *increase* this birthrate, but they can most assuredly *decrease* it even further. And this is where it gets odd.

Often the factors that causes the strongest additional decrease in birthrate is found in nations where the culture and government try to *improve* the quality of life for children.

Countries with high birthrates often have them both because child mortality is high, but more importantly, because children are the only “social safety net” that adults have, so they will not starve in their old age. Thus children equate to prosperity, and the more children, the better.

But once the economic plateau has happened, it tends to mean that children no longer increase the wealth of their family, and instead become an expense to their parents. This is the main reason the birthrate drops to sustainability, because without incentives, people prefer to have between 2 and 3 children.

Then, for each and every cultural and government demand placed on parents to improve the *quality* of the lives of the children, fewer parents will decide to have as many children. Beyond a certain point, many adults decide they just cannot afford any children at all.

And then, and only then, does the culture of death come into play with ruinous consequences to entire nations.

Starting with the easy availability and legality of contraception. This is the primary tool by which adults can decide for themselves to *not* have children. Otherwise, unintended pregnancy is still pregnancy.

But then easy to obtain abortion has a vicious impact on birthrates. Not only by directly killing children, but by damaging or at a minimum weakening prospective mothers. Because having children isn’t all about money. Without health and the strength to have children, many adults will have no choice in the matter, they won’t be able to procreate even if they want to.

And still, even with this, culture and government keep pushing harder and harder to make having children extremely difficult. Student loans that impoverish adults right when they are in the prime age window to get married and have children, have just a devastating effect on birthrate. If adults are tricked into delaying children too long, it is often too late by the time they think they can finally afford it.

All told, culture and government have become the enemy of children, and by their interference in the lives of people they have guaranteed their own destruction. Survival will come to those whose culture and government stops caring, which was never their job in the first place.

That is the premise for a bad movie... Idiocracy. While it’s not really a very good movie, there is some biting, spot on satire.
