Slavery is the scourge of the white man not the black. Whereas blacks got a ticket to paradise, whites are suffering the consequences to this day.

But it reads like rote regurgitation of Marxist propaganda, the sort of stuff which poisons our Nation's race relations. Highly suggest reading Patriot's History of the United States, one of the scholarly works of FReeper LS.
First, "blacks" or "colored" people were not the only folks held as slaves in the "new world."
Second, "white" people were not the only folks holding slaves in the "new world."
The Dread Scott decision determined prescedence from a colonial era case: A slave owner successfully argued a slave ought to be held forever; as opposed to the traditional Biblical view of seven years. A colonial era "colored" slave holder, holding a "colored" slave, plead his case to a "colored" judge. And the "colored" judge agreed with "colored" slave owner.
