WASHINGTON, DC, June 28, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - If homosexual activists at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have their way, a radical “gay sensitivity” training program developed by the department could soon be coming to every federal agency, the Washington Times reported Sunday.
According to an internal newsletter published for employees, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the agency that oversees federal employment issues, has met with officials at USDA responsible for developing the program.
The newsletter, which calls the program “groundbreaking,” reports that the goal of collaboration with OPM is to spread USDA’s “LGBT Special Emphasis Program” across the federal government.
“Talking about LGBT issues is not always easy because people have different perceptions and feelings based on their respective experiences or beliefs,” says the newsletter article. “However, it is imperative that we have these critical conversations about LGBT issues because LGBT inclusion is now part of official USDA policy.”
According to the Times report, the USDA program includes a briefing for employees developed by Senior Training Coordinator Bill Scaggs which is titled “Including Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in Diversity.”
The briefing refers to the belief that marriage should be restricted to a union between a man and a woman as “heterosexism,” and compares the belief to racism.
The briefing also claims that attempts to change a homosexual inclination “usually doesn’t work and may even be harmful. Can produce feelings of depression, hopelessness, shame and anxiety. Some people become suicidal.”
Scagg’s presentation also addresses the issue of gender identity, stating: “Individuals are conscious of [sexual identity] between the ages of 18 months and 3 years. Most people develop a gender identity that matches their biological sex. For some, gender identity is different from biological sex (transsexuals).”
Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, told the Times that USDA’s program will have “disturbing implications” for national defense if spread throughout the government.
“This would drive out thousands of experienced troops, starting with chaplains and people of faith who do not support LGBT ideology and activism,” she said.
Veronica Villalobos, OPM’s director of diversity and inclusion, told The Times that USDA’s program “has not gone government wide.”
“OPM strongly encourages all agencies to conduct diversity and inclusion training,” she said. “USDA is one of the many agencies we are currently working closely with.”

Is anyone, anywhere in the government going to stand up for what is right?? Jesus people, grow a spine and stand up for what you know is RIGHT!

Sodomites are free to do whatever with whomever in the privacy of their own homes. But don’t demand that I approve of any of it. And the fact that people like myself cannot and will not approve of their behavior is exactly what galls Sodomites the most.
But the beef that Sodomites have is nor really about me at all. Only God defines what is moral and what is not. While the gift of eternal life is without price (John 3:16) is not without conditions. Revelation 22:15 says that abstaining from what He defines as sexual immorality is one of those conditions.
By the time it becomes clear that that's not working, the technology will be available to beam an improved government-mandated multimedia presentation directly into your eyeballs via holographic projector that's mounted directly to your head. You won't be allowed to remove it or turn it off, and you won't be allowed to tamper with the projection optics. The soundtrack will be audible 24/7, and it will be a federal crime to tamper with your earpieces or, eventually, the acoustic-nerve neurostimulators that convey the message of the soundtrack into your brain.
Dr.Frank Turek was fired from Cisco because he is a Christian and had written a book about homosexuality. Cisco claims to be all about “diversity” but truth is they are just another captive of the queer nation.
What this will do is to trick a few more gays out of their make-believe closets.
Regimes will change, fashions adjust, and they'll end up right where they were, and at USDA, that's going to be with most of their coworkers imagining them standing there with carrots stuck in all their body orifices.
If this is what the Office of Personnel Management and the Department of Agriculture have all the time and money in the world to concern themselves with, then clearly they have no useful function and should both be eliminated in their entirety.
We need to elect new leaders who will go through the federal establishment with a meat ax and chop out all the rot. God knows there’s plenty of it and we’d save trillions in the end.
Then again, I suspect this training has very little to do with "tolerance" and everything to do with someone telling others what to think. It's all about control, really.
I get so tired of hearing about all this LGBT crap.
At the end of my day I prefer to be recognized for my accomplishments in life rather than my sexual preference.
When the LGBT crowds only defining characteristic is their sexual preferences it must be a very shallow and unrewarding existence. No matter whether the nation recognizes gay marriage, sodomy, or is “more tolerant” of the gay lifestyle those who parade their sexual preferences will always be the least accomplished lurking in the fringes of life.
All the personnel people were heroes and the lawyers were running about doing manful things.
There were about 5 or 6 little vignettes in their video.
All very nice; all very cute; and 100% of the "heavies" were the people in Mail Classification (they make sure postage is collected properly ~ or you go to jail).
The suggestion was that unless you follow the rules folks from Mail Classification might pull down your panties, or falsely accuse you of vicious things, or steal cash out of a cash drawer, or mail bricks that you had to carry.
I appealed to the Postmaster General that this particular video be nipped in the bud and not distributed since, otherwise, I would sue, and he knew what that meant.
I'll be darned, he pulled the film.
Most of your PMGs are good guys and they hate to be formally charged with real crimes. There have been exceptions.
Eventually they will have to be shot, as a matter of defense, rather than offense, if they presume to force entry into our lives and homes to seek approval of their sick mentality.
I’ve come to the conclusion that the Federal Reserve is the root of the problem - even this one. Kill it, and you kill rubbish like this.
Why? Because the FED is the financial foundation for Progressive Government. Being able to print a fiat currency is the only way a Progressive Government can operate a thousand programs like this one. its the only way a Progressive Government can afford to put its control on what should be a separate society.
When Americans take back our government next election we can begin the task of returning some common sense and decency to our government and how it operates.
You have chosen to be a pervert. That is your problem. I do not have to accept it or tolerate it.

Somehow the phrase "tits on a boar" comes to mind, for various reasons.
What I’d like to know is why the LGBT crowd, who choose to engage in deviant behavior needs my accpetance. I don’t accept their lifestyle, nor do I have to be sensitive because they choose to live immoral lives.
