Are you ready for a FReepathon?!
Well, we're expecting a great quarter. The presidential race is heating up. We now have conservatives Bachmann and Cain officially in the race fending off RINO Romney; and Palin and Perry could possibly jump in. My hopes are with Palin, but if she decides not to run I could be happy with Bachmann or Cain. Also, if Palin does not run but Perry does, he'd probably suck all the air out of the race. Either way, Palin, Bachmann, Cain or even Perry would all be excellent alternatives to Obama the commie. Anyone but RINO Romney the big government chief architect of CommieCare!
Thank you all very much for making FR the premier Life & Liberty Conservative site on the Net!!

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for making Free Republic the number one conservative site on the Internet!!
There is no doubt that FReepers have made a difference in American politics. As an example, we FReepers worked closely with Bob Barr and helped him impeach President Clinton. That one's in the history books. The Clintons and the Democrats will never live it down. It might even have been a factor in thwarting Hillary's run for the presidency, though we're now stuck with someone just as bad. And that's only because we couldn't get a conservative on the top of the ticket. Just goes to show how far gone our political world has tumbled and why FR is needed now more than ever! No more RINOS!!
Another example is FReeper chapters turning out in Florida and DC and all around the country protesting and successfully blocking Al Gore's attempted coup d'etat in 2000. And again when FReepers exposed Dan Rather's fraudulent reporting and then pitched in to help swiftboat John Kerry. These are also in the history books.
But we live in a target rich environment. Through outright fraud and deception the corrupt Democrats have taken over the White House and both houses of Congress. Our Marxist-in-chief and his socialist enablers are now working double time to destroy what's left of our free economy and capitalist society. They will stop at nothing short of the total collapse of America if they are not stopped. Anyone who doesn't believe that is simply not paying attention. They have their sights set on the total downfall of America and world socialist domination and they've never been closer than they are today.
Should Obama's plans for taking over the health care industry, "revolutionizing" the energy sector, ie, bankrupting the oil, gas and coal industries, taking complete control over the financial and banking industries, expanding federal control over the entire corporate sector, bankrupting all heavy industry, mining, timber, agriculture, etc, etc, it'll be Katy bar the door. Our economy will collapse and down the drain goes our beloved US of A.
And not to mention his failures in foreign policy and national security/national defense. Obama is without a doubt one of the worst presidents we've ever had if not the very worst. Don't know which will kill us first, his overreaching Marxist economic policies or his bungling/inept foreign policy and piss poor execution of his duties as Commander-in-chief. Obama can't figure out whether he should attack or surrender as our enemy gets stronger and bolder. And if he allows Iran to get nukes, then it's just a matter of time. The entire Middle East is closer than ever to going up in a mushroom cloud and Obama doesn't have a clue. Borrowing from General Schwarzkopf, "he's neither a strategist, nor is he schooled in the operational art, nor is he a tactician, nor is he a general, nor is he a soldier. Other than that he is a great military man."
And who's going to stop him? We are. Not saying FR will do it alone, but we are one of hundreds if not thousands of similar grassroots organizations that are banding together to block this yahoo. We just happen to be one of the larger and older organizations and one with a history of accomplishments. And together we've protested at thousands of grassroots Tea Parties in every city of the land and we just turned out two million patriots to protest Obama in DC. This was probably one of the largest protests ever in our nation's capital. And we're just getting warmed up. The biggest protests are yet to come and then we turnout in historic numbers in 2010 and 2012 to dump the evil Marxist bastards!!
But just like the rest of the country we are currently struggling financially. We don't sell products or services. We don't sell advertising or memberships. There are no fees or dues to pay to use our services or to join our organization. We rely solely on voluntary donations from our readers and participants to support our organization and events and it has always worked very well in the past. I pray it continues.
We appreciate very much your continuing support and dedication to the cause. There is much work yet to be done. If not us, who? If not now, when?
Thank you all very much.
Keep your powder dry.
Rebellion is brewing!!
I know it must be a joyful busy time. Thank you, Onyx.
Heck, once you're done, we'll recruit ya!
Happy Independence Day to you!!
Okie-dokie, nitro-fueled, honey-driven and bad to the bone! handsome Jim!
You’re back!!! I feel like doing a HAPPY DANCE!!!!!!
ROFL. This Pug is clean. I will try to have granddaughter post a photo soon.
Dogs are as much fun as kids. These two literally are the kids we never had. Ours get groomed every two months, so they are used to getting shampooed, ears cleaned, but the trimmers still upset them most. I leave that and the ears to the pros.. but occasionally snip a little hair around the eyes.. very carefully.
LOL. Your two are spoiled. I’ve seen their carriages, remember? Jordan, (granddaughter) managed to trim all of our Pug’s nails... since we no longer take him to the groomer where he caught kennel cough. He’s too old now -—16 -— to risk taking him out to catch fleas and other ailments from other dogs. I clean his ears.
Love your posts, Starwise.
Your graphics and posts are super wonderful!
All of mine went to bandwidth exceeded...lol.
Thank goodness I have my Jordie here to help me.
My granny used to have a black and a golden cocker spaniel.. Blacky and Goldie.. really mellow dogs,, these poodles are real sensitive but very sociable, slightest thing sets em off tho like doorbells, ups trucks.. thank goodness they’re not as yappy as the neighbors and their dogs. and they don’t shed, weird.
They’re going on 4 and 2 .. and we hope to do a day trip to Carmel with the stroller. They like being around people, and enjoyed dining at the HogsBreath Inn. Wish we could take them on the cruise. be a lot cheaper then boarding them.
I feel for ya as a pet person, not sure what and how we handle them as they age, gives me something to outlive besides the cat, dang thing is 13 going on.. Angel the dumpster kitty. she enjoys the dogs, she was the kid of the house for years when it was a straight cat household, all siamese.
Look at the SCORE BOARD, which I posted for posterity. CA has zero donations.
Font Colorizer! Very cool! I’ll check it out once I get home from work! :-)

All the CA FReeper monthlies are moving to Texas. :-)
HI MEG!! Thank you .. they’re very simple. Yours are elegant, gorgeous, artistic masterpieces! Thanks for FReeping the ‘Thon!
Thank u, sweet O! (ahem.. I save them all in Word .. much less stress .. ;)
How great your Jordie is SO tech hip! Hugs to you and Jordie!!
You save graphics and photos in word?
Never mind, I already do that = Word.
The graphic’s source exceeded bandwidth, so now I have to redo all and convert to my own...lol.
I do the post, with all the html ..
then, just copy and paste before posting into a new Word doc and label.
Easypeasy ... ;)
OOh .. I know now what your motive was. Yeah .. bandwith issues stink .. ask me how I know. ^@@^
What steamed me on all of it is: when others just post YOUR pic from your site .. it uses up YOUR bandwith. And so that error ..GRRRRRRRRRrrrr
I’m also using imgur.com. Very easy to use, and reasonable bandwith. Check it out. Then you can do a ‘save as’ to My Pictures in your ‘puter with any pic you find you want to use, label it, and upload it to imgur.
The problem is: at imgur .. your descriptive title disappears and they apply their own html code, so you have to take the extra step of a trial post with imgur pics to visually see what they are in a Word doc.
With Photobucket, you see your saved description in the photo code when you’ve got it in a Word doc. Imgur’s code is all gobbledegook, but it’s VERy easy to use and a much faster site than Photobucket.
And, after you have a bunch in your imgur gallery, you see them all and just copy the code and post it. It’s just afterward, in the Word doc, it’s aggravating.
that said, we are off on a brief weekend trip until the 4th of July. See you'all back here then.
It should read 200 pretty soon.
We’re not subject to a ban, but it’s too dry for us to want to set off our own fireworks. We’ll probably just drive into town and watch theirs.
But I’m not giving up my bbq. I didn’t buy a big smoker to watch it collect cobwebs. Mmm, I can almost taste those ribs already. My only regret is that I haven’t had time to prep my Infidel’s Delight. (Pork tenderloin wrapped around pork sausage, then wrapped in bacon and smoked for a few hours over applewood). But we have baby back ribs, chicken and hotdogs. Baked macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, and baked beans. Good thing we like our neighbors, cuz I’m sure they’ll be popping in. LOL
