His execution is legal, as no federal law exists which compels the states to comply with the treaty in question.
I’ve misread Perry in the past myself.
But if he caves on this, I’ll be surprised. The only thing I have read is that a stay would only be issued upon the orders of the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles.
There is so much bad blood between Obama and Perry, Obama’s involvement most likely makes Perry dig in his heels.
Just a simple question or two?
1. How do Mexican officials treat U.S. citizens if they accuse us of breaking their laws?
2. Does anyone recall the hikers Iran arrested for supposedly crossing their border? What is Obama doing for them?
When do we all get wise to Obama’s actions always being about getting himself elected?
