This only reiterates my fear that the younger people have no honor.

Bite me.

I’m sure you have made plans to care for them, haven’t you?

As a matter of fact we have, thanks.

I’m sure you will discount the years they were forced to pay into a system that you no longer feel the need to support,

Bite me again. If it were up to me I'd cut the lot of you a single check for every dime you paid in, less what you've gotten to date and wish you the very best of luck.

We weren’t stupid, simply coerced.

Bull****. You were frigging complicit and you know it. All you senior citizen frauds are out there railing against all the 'waste' and 'abuse' in the 'system' and then in your next wheezing breaths you all scream "but don't you touch my SS or Medicare!". Well take a look at the charts, grampa and you tell me where to cut to stave off the inevitable bankruptcy that's coming.

I didn't ask for your stupid, unsustainable Social Security program. I dont' frigging want it, either. But what I'm not going to do is let people like you guilt trip me into supporting something that never should have come into being in the first place. It's not my fault your generation got all used to being paid off by a bunch of thieves.

But it's for damned sure I don't have to play ball with it, and I won't.

It's not my fault your generation was stupid enough to believe the promises of politicians. And there's no way in Hell that my generation is going to pay off on them. We're sick of it.

Well, I hope you are sick of it. I don't know how old you are but for argument let's assume you are college age. The youth vote put Obama in office. And let's look back in time and we see youths supporting every rotten commie program the libtards proposed. So if you are counting on the youth to rise up against the government for enslaving you, you are completely wrong. The vast majority of the young in this nation support their own enslavement and they don't even know it. On the off chance you are correct this old man hopes he can join you. Those Liars have stolen from my family all my life and if I cannot get what I am owed, I'll settle for their hide.

Bite Me is such a grown up way of expressing yourself.

I am very happy you have provided for your family. That gives me hope for your generation.

You are very wrong. My generation wasn’t promoting SS or Medicare. For most conservatives, it was not a choice. Any more than it is for you.

And in my last wheezing breath..if you would like to cut me a check for my contribution into the system, I’ll be most happy to receive it at www.berdie

Be careful..your generation could be similarily scammed. And most likely will be.

Bite Me is such a grown up way of expressing yourself.

It seemed an appropriate response to someone who accused me of having no honor. I have other responses for anyone who is unwise enough to say such things to my face but they don't work well over the internet.

You are very wrong. My generation wasn’t promoting SS or Medicare.

Then why are we still saddled with them? You may not have promoted them but it doesn't look to me like y'all had much trouble cashing all those checks.

And in my last wheezing breath..if you would like to cut me a check for my contribution into the system,

I'll tell you what. You write the SS Administration and they'll send you an accounting of your 'contributions' to it over your working life. Then you figure out what you've gotten monthly, times 12, times the number of years you've been drawing it. Then do the same thing for Medicare. If that is less than what you put in over your working life I'm all for you getting every nickel you paid into it back in a nice lump sum check.

If it's not, then I expect you to shut the hell up and say thank you to the younger generation who is now making up that difference every single month of your life. Because it's for damned sure that people my age aren't going to get anywhere near whay your generation did.

I'm sorry you got screwed, Pops. I really am. But just because you got screwed doesn't mean that every single generation after you needs to get screwed, too. The time to stop this foolishness is now before the entire country is dragged into bankruptcy and ruin.

The Supreme Court has previously ruled that a company can only be forced to collect taxes in a state if it has a “nexus” there — meaning it actually operates in that state.

California has attempted to state that California websites linking to Amazon create a “nexus,” so Amazon let all those affiliates go. (As one writer said, imagine if a mail order company placed coupons in California magazines and paid a premium to the maagazines for the number of coupons redeemed — would those magazines create a nexus? No. It’s the same thing with the affiliates who link to Amazon.)

California is trying to create a new “nexus” by saying that since there are Amazon subsidiaries in California, such as one that develops the Kindle, that’s the nexus, but there is a court case on point regarding the Current greeting card company that rejected that type of Nexus.

I understand the issue just fine, thanks, and I’m not sure why you think I wouldn’t.

You DON’T have any honor. Or class, either, for that matter. So wipe the snot off the end of your nose, tough guy. It’s past your bedtime.

And oh, yes, bite me.

let's assume you are college age.

You assume incorrectly. I'm in my late 40's.

Liars have stolen from my family all my life and if I cannot get what I am owed, I'll settle for their hide.

Now that's the attitude we need a whole lot more of.

I would respond to you in person the same way. Trust me. You have no honor. Unless, if it is true that you plan to take care of your elderly parents and disabled brother, aunt or other relative. If this is the case...you have honor. Even though a sizable amount is being deducted from your check, to do the things families aren't willing to do. If that is your intent, you have my sincere apology.

Bite me is juvenile and detracts from your very valid and well thought positions.

#1.I am not of the age to draw social security or Medicare. But I respect the fact that others were forced to pay into this Ponzi scheme.

#2. We are saddled with this because nobody in the government has the guts to tackle.

#3 I get an annual statement from SS. Since I am not drawing SS or Medicare..I expect that you will send me the check you promised earlier.

#4 Shut the hell up and say thank you to the younger generation. Are you serious???

Why don't we join together to fix the problem? It will take the oldsters as well as the youngsters to fix this problem.

All the bitchers should go complain to their parents for not having them soon enough to reap the rewards!

They also missed the best years of this country, the 40s and 50s.

Actually my parents lived the absolute best years, 1902-1994 and 1909 to 1998.

Maybe us old folks will be able to quit paying for your kids school...I have grandkids grad. from college and still pay school taxes..my kids are in their 40’s and 50’s. They have kids that have grad. from college and they are also still paying for your kids to go to school..at taxes a lot higher than when my kids were in school..hubby died at 51, he never got to collect SS. Paid into it from the time he was 16.

People are tired of paying for entitlements. Soon SS will be gone. Then what will the old folks do?

Yeah you tell 'em. I've been working full time for 40 years and expect to do 10 more. Every check has SSI taken out but I guess I won't be entitled to my "entitlement" because you are tired of paying for it. My SSI contribution would be worth more than a million dollars if it was invested at market rates for the past 40 years.

"If this is the way it goes, I'm concerned that other affiliate programs will go away too," said Wolf, who works as a Web designer from his Corona home. "And then I'll have to look for another source of income to fill the gap. It is real money."

Umm, or, you could relocate to a civilized state.

There are times I almost fly into a blind rage when I hear some freak say my monthly SS check is an entitlement. Placing it into the same category as a inner city baby factory, or a 3rd or 4th generation welfare parasite creep.

You are right, you are not a 3rd or 4th generation welfare parasite creep, but you are a greedy, selfish fool.

(1) There is no money for you to grab - you will have to stand in line like all of those other 3rd and 4th generation welfare parasite creeps to steal if from someone who is Producing. Pushing and shoving your way to the teat; stealing bread from a Producer's table so you can stuff your face because, as you rationalize, "you paid into it".

(2) Social Security is not a personal loan that you made with the Feral Government - you were swindled into a Ponzi Scheme and willfully played along rather than work to stop the thieving. Our generation is doing what your generation was too greedy and selfish to do - stop the madness.

(3) You are right, it is not an entitlement. The courts have already ruled that Social Security is not a Right. There is no law that obligates future generations to give up their own earnings, live in a deprecated life, toil longer and harder so you can coast in familiar luxury. SSI can be canceled at any time and payments stop. In fact, Barry is contemplating stopping payments now in retaliation for the GOP not bumping up (again) that political farce of a Debt Limit

(4) Many of us still Producing while you are lazying around bitching about your future in freeloading off of your neighbors have put in SSI at a much higher percentage and under a greater cap than those looting the system now. I don't expect a dime from the system - only the promise of higher rates and much higher caps - just so you can enjoy the extended life-span also afforded by me and other Producers in the form of welfare Medicaid, Medicare and other hand-out wealth transfer programs.

(5) You have had the benefit of decades of the Reagan Revolution to make your fortune and save for your own retirement. Now, with an F-U attitude you look at your neighbor who has to survive in this economic environment where our costs are going through the roof and we didn't have the opportunities that you squandered, and you demand that we give up the last that we have - for what? So you can afford the full satellite TV package in your pusher RV?

So you can bitch and moan about how much money you put in, but in the end you are nothing more than a selfish greedy bastard who wouldn't mind slashing your neighbor's throat if that is what it took to get your next precious welfare Social Security check. To me you are no different than any other person who is riding along in the cart dragging their feet and complaining about how bumpy the free ride is.

It disgusts me, particularly around Independence Day where slobs are demanding that the younger generations lose even more of our liberty and more of the fruits of our labor so that the welfare SSI dependency checks keep rolling in. You have willingly made yourself a tool for Obama to use in his quest to destroy the country. Your selfish demands to further bankrupt this nation work hand in glove with his goals. Congratulations.

(See, I can play "blind range" games too - at least I have a reason. You don't.

You are one sad person, imho.

And before you go into attack mode..checkout my earlier posts on this thread.

Sounds to me that if you work hard and have a decent retirement..you are damned.

Many of us don’t rely on SS. And have paid dearly for it.

(Or in my case, will at some point.)

You are one sad person, imho.

Sea Parrot said that anyone who would get between him and his welfare SSI puts him into a "blind rage".

Its only fair to show that the Producers have a greater reason to have a "blind rage" than the Takers do in their expectations to grab even more from a bankrupt nation - no matter what rationalizing one does.

The "attack mode" is nothing more than a rhetorical demonstration.

And there really is no money to hand out freely like we did in the past.
