This is why I refuse to put Sarah Palin on anything resembling a pedestal. Every time I do that I am shortly thereafter let down in a huge way. Newt, Bush 43, and now Fred. I'm done. They're all just politicians that couldn't care less about the Oaths they regurgitate when taking office, nothing more.
