What on earth does this town have as far as form of government? If the chief of police was hired, fire his Robocop-on-roids @$$. If he was elected remove him via any number of means. There is no excuse for living in fear of a police force that is paid for out of the city budget. Remove them from it as an emergency cost-saving measure. Get them out of there. They’re the epitome of what this country was created to forbid and prevent.

According to Jones, police escorted Mayor Ed Foster to today's special meeting, but he refused to take part in what he believed to be an illegal event.
Jones says....police made comments today such as, "We feel that they are trying to incite a riot. We feel we need to do this." rut roh. I'd say it's high time for a special election to replace sheriff Hothead - let's see if he tries to stop THAT

Until a whole bunch of FReepers finally wake up and smell the roses that US LEOs are nothing more than leftie, totalitarian, union thugs who will abuse their authority at the drop of the hat, we will continue to live in fear.
Disband all local police/sheriffs departments and mandate “must permit” concealed carry laws in all jurisdications.
