If you don’t support drug legalization, then contact your state rep and urge him to draft a bill that has harsh penalties for the sale and use of drugs. But don’t advocate unconstitutional power grabs by the federal government. The 18th amendment was passed precisely because members of Congress realized that they didn’t have the Constitutional authority to ban alcohol with a simple federal law. The original intent of the commerce clause does not give Congress the authority to ban drug use within a specific state. The federal war on drugs is a clear assualt on the 10th amendment, and it should be opposed by all true conservatives.

My state rep is as rat who is probably on drugs. If we want to go back to the ban on alcohol that was done by progressives. There is a huge difference between meth and a beer.

Go You Tube "Intervention" or watch it On Demand if you have Comcast and you'll see what Meth, coke, heroin, and other drugs do to people.

I don't believe it violates the 10th Amendment at all as I do not believe drugs is a state issue. It is a Federal issue and if you disagree then you would have to clear Eric Holder and the ATF of "Fast and Furious".

This involves guns and drugs and was carried out by a Federal Agency, not the State of Arizona. A FEDERAL AGENT was killed by weapons purchased by Mexican Drug Dealers during a FEDERAL operation.

I don't see how this is not a Federal issue. Drug use doesn't vary by state.

Heck today a Mexican Tour bus was busted for bringing millions of dollars of drugs into the US and that bus was allowed to enter under FEDERAL law.

Now if you can argue and prove that drugs like meth, heroin, coke, speed benefit society then I will take your argument, however, taking drugs off the street isn't a power grab.

Drugs promotes gang violence, illegal aliens, death, destruction, I can go on forever.

Uniting libertarians and conservatives is great to fight progressives, however, that doesn't mean we need to agree about legalization which I feel would destroy the nation.

And I will restate the most vile creature on Earth, George Soros, pours millions of dollars towards legalization...
