NEW YORK (AP) — An 8-year-old Brooklyn boy who got lost while walking home alone from day camp in his Orthodox Jewish neighborhood was killed and dismembered by a stranger he had asked for directions, and his remains were found stuffed in a trash bin and the man's refrigerator, police said Wednesday.

What a horror story. I can only imagine what his parents are feeling - this was the first time they let him walk home on his own, just a few blocks away. I pray they get real justice, help from their community through this, and some kind of divine peace sometime in the future.

Sounds like the only upside (if you can call it that) of this is that the cops hopefully caught this guy before he added a passel of little boys to his fridge.
From my take, the MSM was hoping the killer wasn’t Black or Muslim, or both. Now they can have several weeks of news instead of burying the story on page D23 and forgetting about it.
Who was the perp?
Weirdly, the assailant was reported to be Jewish too, and a religiously devout one at that. I wonder if he forgot and went off his crazy meds.
(Not that I mean being Jewish is crazy, but that when sane he practiced the religion faithfully.)
The perp was a Jew - I’m thinking Hasidic from his picture. Lived in an attic in the house with his mother. The guy was like 35ish.
There is a certain place in Hell for people like that. As though there are better places in Hell, but whatever. He is eternally damned.
Says in the article he was Orthodox Jew but not Hassidic. A mention in the article also that the community says it “hurts more” to know it was a Jew.
According to the article, he dumped the body but cut off the feet and kept them in his fridge. Have a feeling I know part of this man’s problem.
I think police ought to look where he used to live in TN. If there are any unsolved missing children cases he might be the cause.

I’m a Christian and I unabashedly state that all saved Jews end up coming to God in Christ. God’s message is the same to Jews and Gentiles regarding salvation — trust on Him for your eternal life to be forgiven and saved, or suffer in eternity for your sin whatever it is.

I’ve always rebelled at the statement: You can’t take the law into your own hands. Well, who’s farking law is it? Does it belong to a certain class of people called lawyers who prance about in court? Does it belong to the judges who oversee these antics by the prosecution and defense lawyers? No, it belongs to the people. And if the so-called law enforcers can’t or won’t do their jobs, who is left up to? Just saying.

A profile of a typical serial killer is probably a single white male in the 25-45 age range, with marginal employment even if well-educated.
If you remember that Atlanta child murder spree back around 1980, one of the things that totally shocked the police when they finally caught the perp was that he was a black man.

I think the perp was probably mentally insane. This is an issue the community needs to address and resolve. If there is any consolation to the family, this man was not in his right mind and did not target the child. Hopefully the community will start to look at the mental health problems inside the community. Perhaps these communities need to seek genetic diversity when arranging marriages.
Statistically, you might find that a black male is actually a pretty safe bet when it comes to a child encountering a stranger. I read somewhere that while crime rates are very high among black males, they are also far less likely to be deranged serial killers than their white counterparts.

Black males on the other hand, have a high level of violent crime statistically, including child abuse/death.
Moms with strollers and children tend to be low on the violent crime and serial killer stats. So I say “Go to the momma, go to the momma.”

Glad you said that! I don’t know how many times over the years that I saw a crying little one that was lost. I usually just sat with them and told them stories until the Mom or Dad showed up. Usually only took a few minutes but must have felt like a lifetime for the child.
8 years old. This just absolutely breaks my heart. God have mercy.

True, but that changes depending on the economic background of perpetrator. Lower income blacks are far more likely to rape and murder the elderly, while middle to upper income members are far more likely to rape and murder women in the Ted Bundy style. I forget the profiler’s name, but he’s well known. I can look him up if you are interested in reading him, BTW.

AP just making stuff up again. I guess they didn’t want to bother going out to Brooklyn, leaving their air conditioned midtown offices. The TRUTH is that the little guy was tricked into trusting a scumbag who wanted to kill him. He wasn’t lost. But why let the facts kill a “good” story?
