Stress-related condition ‘incapacitates’ Bachmann; heavy pill use alleged
Daily Caller ^ | 07-18-11 | Jonathan Strong

Posted on 07/18/2011 8:13:54 PM PDT by Lazlo in PA

In late July 2010, Rep. Michele Bachmann’s then-communications director, Dave Dziok, told his boss that he planned to take a new job with the public relations firm Edelman.

Dziok had worked for Bachmann for two and a half years, a relatively long period by the standards of her office, and was leaving on good terms.

Staff turnover can frustrate any employer, but Bachmann responded more dramatically. Dziok’s departure triggered a debilitating medical episode that landed the congresswoman in urgent care.

“Within 24 hours she was in the hospital,” a former aide says.

Bachmann was admitted to a Washington, D.C. hospital on Friday, July 30, and released that same day. She flew home to Minnesota to recuperate, missing a scheduled campaign event with Sen. Roy Blunt.

IMO the thought process for this mud-slinging, at this time, is something like this:

People don't really notice patterns, from a series of independent events. Right now Michele Bachmann is an independent event. A female conservative running for president.

In a few weeks, that may change. Not because Congressman Bachmann will be bothered by this sort of silly whining. But because a second female conservative may join her.

Another female conservative who has received this same treatment.

Even the most deaf, dumb and blind liberal dope will begin to notice, when both of them start receiving regular sliming. And people will start to correctly identify the behavior as what it is: SEXISM. Misogyny.

The moment that realization happens, one of them will win.

So the people using this sort of slime, are trying to use it now, when they're calculating it won't backfire on them.

I think they're wrong.

The GOP Establishment wants someone it can control. That’s not Bachmann or Palin so they must be destroyed. Like Palin, Bachmann is discovering that the attacks from her own party are actually more vicious than the attacks from the Dems.

Will all the people who never in their lifetime had to make a quick visit to a hospital please stand up!

If you are over 45, and you stood up, you are either very lucky or a liar. I was in great health when I was attending a seminar in Santa Fe, NM. To keep awake during the long hours of seminar, I drank more than usual amount of coffee. After the session ended, I had a some wine (no more than 2 glasses) with fellow attendees. Then I went for a mile long jog. When I got back and went to bed, my heart rhythm went berserk. It was beating extremely erratic. I never had experienced such problem in my 50 years age. I called 911 and they took me to a hospital. They gave me some sedative and I was back to normal.

Well...there could be 2 reasons for my hospital episode. my boss whom I liked had just resigned...or...it was Caffeine + alcohol + 8000 feet above sea level at Santa Fe. You decide!

I don't know how she's tracking. In fact, I'm for another candidate (Perry), but, when I hear vitriolic spewings from the left about any candidate, I take a second look.

If the libs hate her enough to smear her, I'm FOR HER.

Apparently there is a Mormon fellow who still subscribes to that way of thinking. Or Myth is hoping the rest of the country will buy it.

I would rather have a female President who has “a tendency to cause trouble” than a straight up lying, shifty, POS, Progressive loser.

“Bachmann is discovering that the attacks from her own party...”

Bachmann was ‘going rogue’ before it was vogue.

She started her elected career crushing a popular 18yr Republican incumbent. This year she went for Boehner’s head. And then over it (SOTU).

She can take it. She can dish it out.

Did you even read the article? The sources claim that she has missed several events, been taken to the emergency room multiple times on the road, and been bedridden at a colleague’s home with intense migraines.

Aspirin and Tylenol do not work on migraines and they are not prevention meds. If she requires prevention meds, prophylactic meds, and pain meds. She’s likely taking an anti-seizure or blood pressure med to prevent the migraines, a “triptan” to abort them, and a narcotic to ease the intense pain. It’s not the medicine that is the issue. It’s the incapacitation.

If the claims are true, and I don’t have a clue if they are, she can’t run the country. People who do not suffer from migraines do not understand them and how severly they can affect migraine sufferers and everyone with whom they interact. I have them and I would not wish them on anyone.

A migraine is not a headache. Technically, it’s medically the opposite of a headache. (Blood vessels expanding versus constricting.) Migraines are a serious medical condition that can lead to stoke or worse.

So what did Stewart say....

The Bachmann campaign at some point should go into Bachmann's medical history. All candidates should. Even ones who don't take medication for migraines.

“she can’t run the country.”

Nonsense.

On the odd chance that she actually has this malady and that it actually afflicted her when the missiles are flying or whatever concerns you, we have ALWAYS been well prepared for such things. Her Vice Palin can push the button. Big hairy deal.

Or a whole chain of others.

This is not a kingdom, it’s AMERICA!

We are NOT at the mercy of one persons continuous good health. Kennedy, FDR, Reagan,... we survived just fine.

Sleep well.

Regardless the veracity, a prayer for her good health and for that of the other freedom fighters would be in order.

Father in heaven, in the name of Christ the Lord, forgive our sins and hear this prayer...

...for the physical well-being of those fighting to return the spiritual and Constitutional well-being of this once and soon to be great nation under You!

...oh, and ah, if it be Your will of course, maybe it could be arranged for the president to spend MUCH more time campaigning in heavily neglected states #51 thru #57. I hear they have great golf courses. We’ll manage.

Amen.

You can’t insinuate that there is anything “wrong” with homosexuality. Not a word. None allowed in Amerikkka.

This brainwashing into the homosexual worldview —homosexual acts are “good” is now in full swing...it had destroyed Dr. Laura’s show—Michael Savage’s TV show, made HUNDREDS of politicians APOLOGIZE for saying the TRUTH, but NOW they mean business....

The sodomite Jerry Brown is making sure that the paradigm shift is complete—that removal of a Christian paradigm—where right and wrong is determined by the Bible, in line with Natural Law which was used for 200 years and foundation of US laws—to Marx’s moral relativism (really Constitutional, folks!!!)—Might makes Right-—whoever has the power gets to force their thinking on all others and punish those who do not think like they do-—FORCE of LAW.....”Marxist group think”.

In communism, you have no freedom of thought or religion. You live in fear...for no one can trust no one—even family—because they obliterate the family and all relationships. Fear....Chambers wrote all about it in Witness.

Cain is also a BIG target of the sodomy lobby because he says the truth (not allowed)—just what my mother and father used to say and they were good people who would never sodomize a boy. Not so with homosexuals—there is a correlation with boy/men sex and tour groups regularly made with men to Asian countries...Also White House parties—had boys (Franklin Case) used by our politicians at parties...

The gay mafia is in control in the White House, the public schools, Hollywood, and they have a BIG agenda for the boys—to make the world act and look like Ancient Greece. They need the children to be corrupted in their thinking when they are young....to go with “up is down” logic when they are little so they never develop logic or able to see a different kind of world. (Formative years has meaning!!!!) Sodomy is learned—exactly like bestiality and holes in the walls and everywhere else people put their organs. It is call no morality—no sexual morality is learned while young—all acts are equal—the same—no right or wrong—just do what feels good (Marcuse). Slaves to emotions and no intellectual development is what Marxists want....slaves to addictions.

Normalization of sodomy is all about perverting the thinking of boys and directing their sexual impulses towards men. Homosexuality is a perversion of nature—caused by trauma, yes and emotional abuse, yes, where people damage the sexual identity during the latency period....but boys can be seduced easily when young and done by NAMBLA’s manual....pick it up sometime for a picture of their worldview they want. It is positively sick—you will puke.

It is what they do in Afghanistan and what was done in Ancient Greece. The ideal “perfect” partners are boys. Wake up—for your son and grandson’s sake. I am not being satirical here or speaking in hyperbole. If anything, I am underplaying their plans. (Pink Swastika is online. Read it it is researched history of the homosexual movements around the world.).

The Franklin Case coverup...is all about high officials at sex parties in Wash. DC. and they intimidate people who are appalled by using judges, lawyers, threats, etc. to hide their actions and keep people quiet. Bribery is the MO in getting things done in Washington and in most politics....Who has what dirt on whom. It is the game they play—but mostly with boys now.

The GOP-E is scared to death of Bachmann. I think her popularity, especially among independents, has caught them completely by surprise.

They’ve already sent in their Kamikaze candidates (T-Paw, Perry, Santorum). None of them are getting enough traction to finish sinking her, so they’ll start sending wave-after-wave of fauxcon media zeroes. Anything to keep the status-quo gravy train running as long as it can til we default.

They are discussing MB getting migraines and missing work to recuperate, yet our president is getting ‘lines in his face’ and needs frequent golf outings, parties, and vacations to combat his stress. He is tardy, smokes, drinks, and has used drugs. I think O has missed mega more days ‘recuperating’ and MB holds a more reliable record.

Perhaps you thought I meant "all canidates should get into Bahmann's medical history". LOL.

To be clear, all canidates should release their own medical records. Questions about specific medical issues, such as Bachmann's migraine headaches and the medication she takes for it, Cain's Stage 4 cancer, Obama's mental disorders...etc, should all be asked and answered.

“Migraines can significantly impact one’s ability to make even basic decisions”

I don’t doubt that might be true for some.

On the other hand, I suffer from a type of migraine that is much less debilitating - a vision thing, not pain. And I’ve several in-laws who suffer from the worse kinds. But who have found increasing relief through various avoidance techniques, treatments, meds, magnets, moonbeams or whatever.

They all lead productive lives.

If Bachmann shows any signs of such frailty during this looooong election season, I might start to be mildly concerned.

Otherwise, I’m not.

Like I say, she could keel over dead as prez at just about any moment and America will be just fine.

Bingo! Politicians who spend their hard earned money don’t want it squandered because the people take to a more tuned-in conservative. There is no way one can predict how they will deal with it. Instead of competing on the issues, some try to destroy the opposition through digging up dirt and personal attacks.

It will get hysterical when Michelle Bachmann gets attacked for the brand of perfume she uses.

I used to get them so bad that I WOULD end up in the emergency room sometimes. 24 hours was mild. The very last one I had was before I got pregnant and haven’t had one since, but THAT one lasted for 9 days and my doctor had me on amorphine drip. NOTHING stopped it. I could still feel it through the drugs. If she gets anything like that, she’s just down until it’s over...and that is NOT a good thing. NOTHING scares me worse than the possibility of that kind of heaache because you just want to die.
Never found out what caused them OR what stopped them. I just thank G-d they stopped.

Been there, done that many times myself. And ER docs aren’t exactly nice to migraine patients. Most times they think you’re just a drug seeker so they put you in a corner to wait you out. I had to get a notarized letter from my neurologist when I was traveling a lot to make it easier to get treatment in the ER.

Remember what Rush said months ago when people would tell him that Palin is damaged goods....every GOP candidate will eventually be damaged goods....they are just going to go down line. Who will it be next Cain or Perry? The MSM is going to pick the GOP candidate and then they’ll tear that person appart once he gets the nomination.
