Face it: until Nov. 2012, Republicans control only one-half of the two branches of government required to enact legislation. That is one-quarter power.
All they can do is all they can do. Best we can hope for until a new election is damage control. Don’t blast Cantor for speaking the truth.

Classical Jewish texts concur that God did *not* destroy Sodom and Gemorrah because their inhabitants were homosexual. Not at all. At least this way we at least can gain the narrative, deny Obama even the remotest chance at what he would call a victory, and set the stage for larger cuts and greater reform when we gain the Senate and the White House in 2012.
Man, this sucks all of the juju from Zero - see him squirming last night? - it's gonna' get better when he has to sign Boehner's deal.

My question is sincere. I may not have kept up on all the details, but I am still not convinced that there will be a default, unless Obama wants one.
I think the question is do we want a govt shutdown, and its improper to frame the question as one of default. If the question is do I want a govt shutdown (except military and essential functions that can be justified constitutionally), the answer would most definitely yes.
The House has already passed the Ryan budget and CC&B. Either of those are better than the total sham Boehner is putting forward.
Conservative have got to wise up. The Obot press knows they can play you for fools. You all really got to quit believing every little thing they publish. They are NOT on your side.
