Boehner on Hannity "We can't let perfect be the enemy of the good" (using Obama's phrases)

He's using the same language that Obama used to sell Obamacare to the public.

Hannity gave both Cantor and Boehner total softball interviews. Very disapointed.

Bottom line: 5B in cuts next year for a 1000B debt limit raise today.

Boehner said that the lastest plan MAY have tax increases in it, but he doesn’t think so!

A Select Committee my foot! NO MORE BIPARTISANSHIP! They didn’t let us have even ONE amendment when it came to Obamacare!

Boehner really let himself get into some quicksand. He should have stuck with CC&B after the House vote. His weakness will be the death of this country. It’s time to replace him. Yet another defeat from the jaws of victory. The House must make a stand and not vote for this plan du jour.

What exactly is Bonehead right about?

The nominal 7 Billion in cuts.
Future Cuts 10 years out, that are not binding and will never happen?
Another Blue-Ribbon Commission to do the job congress is paid to do?

Which one of these is he right about?

“Bottom line: 5B in cuts next year for a 1000B debt limit raise today.”

Outlays will be reduced 26 Billion he said on Rush.
Still not very impressive, though much better than the 6 billion people are citing.

Hannity doesn’t do his guests any favor by being so soft in his interviews. It doesn’t give them an opportunity to clarify. They just do ‘bullet points’ and then there’s silence LOL!

Boner hasn’t been right since childhood when he thought he would never amount to anything.

What’s being cut?

I remember you from the budget fight. How are those Obamacare “hearings” going??

You must not remember me too well because I was emphasizing the Ryan hearings.

The big Ryan budget debate is up next after this bill gets signed (budget by Oct. 1). That's when we get deeper cuts, though the Ryan ideas also inevitably will be bashed by many conservatives.

“Was that when Ronald got bamboozled (his own opinion) over the 3$ in cuts for 1$ tax increase?”

I had to look it up... it was the farm bill.

And apparently, it’s a Voltaire quote.

That cliche fits sometimes, but more often it is used to stop us from striving for the best.

God bless Reagan. He is in his crypt still waiting on those promised cuts.

He's exactly right about not bending to Obama's tax increases.

That hasn't been an easy slog and he's done admirably.

He also said he `wasn’t worried about the deficit—it was big enough to take care of itself’ and he signed the `86 illegal alien amnesty.
Great president, but to use another cliche—that was then and this is now. Time to stop mooning over Reagan and follow his example by destroying liberals and their plans wherever we find them.

No idea. He didn’t say. I Haven’t seen the bill.

Reps promised all bills would be available 72 hrs before they’re voted on.

Let’s see if they drop that rule for this. It would be a bad sign.

There’s no such thing as “a real conservative”. You obviously haven’t been around long enough to know that. Till then, take your own advice and STFU!

Notice Slimy Dreaming never brings up the CR Deal that Bonehead and Cantor cut. Could it be that although Bonehead promised 36 billion in cuts, after DC accounting, it only ended up being about 350 million in REAL CUTS.

What is it about Boneheads past “Deals” that gives confidence in his “Deal” making skills.

With this latest plan, no tax increases is a kinda sorta iffy thing.
