What unspeakable scumbags abortionists are. They had better hope there isn’t a collapse of law and order.

The banality of evil that H. Arendt wrote about.

Just reading the title of this article made me howl with pain and grief.

How can anyone actually SEE these babies and let them die in the toilet?

How long, O Lord?

Ever notice that the right of a woman to kill her unborn is the ONLY absolute right?

And all of the horror is because the Blackmun Supreme Court ruled that a woman’s right to privacy trumps all other rights of all other people, especially the unborn.

Was reading about Oliver Wendell Holmes recently. An early “Progressive,” and anti-religion and anti natural-law supreme court justice.

Seems much of this can be traced back to him.

Up until 1870 law students were taught what the law said and what it meant. In 1870 Christopher Columbus Langdell became the dean of Harvard Law. Dean was a great admirer of Charles Darwin and his belief in evolution and thus that rights were NOT granted by the Creator. His method of teaching, known as the case method, or case law, taught that there was no need to go back to the Constitution to determine if laws were constitutional. Instead, one only had to rely on cases that were already settled. Oliver Wendell Holmes was one of his students.

This hasn’t been in the national news! Their should be an outrage at this and should give women at least a pause before going to one of these killing mills.

I became very enlightened on a recent trip to UVA in Charlottesville, VA. One of the oldest buildings on campus has Darwin, along with other progressive types, embossed in stone on the building. The building was built in the latter half of the 19th century.

And to think I thought that the movement took off in the 1920s with the Scopes Trial.

Thank you for your informative post. It explains a great deal as to how the movement gained ground here in the states.

Of course there should be an outrage at this.

When people have been taught for 36+ years that pregnancy is a “disease” and an unwanted preborn baby is blob of tissue to be discarded like a tumor, this is the “logical” result.

If this “logic” continues there will eventually be as many euthanasia “clinics” as there are abortion “clinics”.

Only very sick liberals, with hearts of stone instead of flesh, can.

If more ordinary liberals were actually exposed to what goes on in abortion mills, they might change their minds.

The regular use of ultrasound is already moving more and more young people to the pro-life side, even to the point of participating in the March for Life. (If there were only something to move young people away from support for “gay rights”, too!!!!)

There is no such thing as “ordinary” liberals. Those are misinformed or indifferent people who would not be liberal if they knew anything.

They have the same spirit as the people in Israel who burned children to death as offerings to Molech.

Wagglebee - going to get back on the job - I don’t know if this is already posted, Lifesite doesn’t need to be excerpted, IIRC.

Let me know the status so I can post the whole article and ping it if you don’t have it up already.

The director of the women's crisis pregnancy center in Tampa where I used to volunteer had adopted just such a baby. Her name is Julianna and her mother was only sixteen. She had hidden her pregnancy from her parents and cried out for help when she started having very hard cramps. They took her to the hospital and, while she was in the bathroom, the baby was born in the toilet. She was very small, maybe only eighteen weeks along. The girls parents insisted the baby be allowed to die since they said they would have forced their daughter to have an abortion had they known.

Well a Christian nurse took the baby and wrapped her up in blankets and snuck down a stairwell and slipped her into neonatal ICU. She contacted an attorney friend who specialized in adoption and he called Pat. She and her husband adopted Julianna and today she is a beautiful, happy, healthy college freshman. She is a Christian and travels with her mom to give talks about abortion. Such a wonderful testimony!

Babies who are born alive MUST be given every chance to survive! Obama and other heartless Liberals don't believe these babies should be allowed to live. The only restriction against abortion remaining has been the "viability" of the fetus - latin word for "young one" - and advances in neonatal technology have pushed that time even further back. Fifty years ago a baby born that early had little chance at survival in spite of the best of care. Today, babies overwhelmingly survive and thrive. The issue shouldn't even be viability at all, though, because we are talking about a human life and it begins at conception. Until this right to life is afforded to the least of us, none of us are safe!
